Hey..that's a nice video. I had this question from a long time. Does sending payloads from other countries into space help in recovering the launch cost and expenses for India. If yes, then to what extent (roughly). I was thinking that can India make it into some form of business where we send foreign satellites in Space and make huge profits? I could not contain my curiosity hence this question. Thanks brother.
yes, India has already launched commercial satellites from different countries. ISRO has its own budget and it does not depend on world market. There is a bigger picture to it than just making money from sending satellites from other countries. India's energy security and the security of space based assets depend on space explorations. There is a serious threat to satellites of India and other countries from china.
India has the capacity to knock down all the satellites of china and push them into dark. India restrains itself because of opposition from the US. Yes, ISRO made around 50 million dollars or more from its launches of commercial satellites. The problem is not all the countries are interested in sending satellites to the space. It is a small market, competition is more. India is also working on cryogenic engine for sending heavy satellites.
ISRO's yearly budget is around 1 billion(1000 million) USD against NASA's 20 billion USD...the cost for sending the chandrayaan 1 was only 86 million USD, we sent the US,ESA and bulgarian payloads free of cost...we have enough money to spend and we do make lot of profits while sending satellites for other countries...like we sent 10 satellites together...dont believe the BBC propoganda...they r fed up and pissed because the fucked up british scientist cant launch a bicycle of their own...
yes, Indians are good at cosmology. vedas of India are almost 5000 yrs old. British tried to manipulate us with their pea sized brains, but at the back of their minds they know that Indians are very smart but innocent and modest. Indian vedic literature is scientifically more advanced than what is out there today.
Yeah! Studies have proven that Sanskrit the most advanced language in terms of both the script and sounds made! Chinese(mandorin) performs very badly!
In other countries astronauts are not from say preferably airforce, most of them say 90% are scientists who can go up and do some experiments.1st mission may have someone frm airforce but nt subsequent...SO get some nice education and then u can be selected as astronaut if found fit.
Well Done India also reach Mars and Jupiter and far away Stars in future.
ISRO Keep Up the Good Work.
