It's sad that Star Trek isn't sociably acceptable and football, basketball, nascar, etc is. It's ok for guys to collect signed balls, wear jerseys, paint there faces a team color, etc, but it's not ok to wear a star trek uniform and collect memorabilia. Keep doing your thing dude!

Both well worth my money. Star Trek is my main thing but I collect some Star Wars stuff if it looks good. Sideshow had some awesome 18" figures both from Star Trek and Star Wars.

An excessive collection of baseball, football, or NASCAR memorabilia would still be seen as weird, though, mainly considering the expense, but at least it's the memorabilia of something real.

If you had a collection of NASA or military memorabilia - anything from those ships you mentioned - that would be different. Unfortunately those Star Trek vessels are only named for real ones. That's not the same thing at all and it's laughable that you would even suggest it. It's also an insult to real astronauts and soldiers. Try again - and put some effort into it this time!

@Propguy1701, Enterprise and Victory to name but two that were in the Royal Navy and played pivital roles in Star Trek. Also, the new Virgin Galactic comercial space ships are named VSS Enterprise and VSS Voyager!!, so I agree with your comment...Not forgeting the Star Trek tech that we now take for granted, mobiles, touch tablets, computers, tricoders (they have a similar divice in the military) all originated from Star Trek. Star Trek will become reality one day...its just a matter of time.

You can go to Blockbuster and rent all of the movies and tv shows. Start with classic Star Trek on DVD. {either the regular or the remastered} Seasons 1,2, and 3. Then watch the movies. One thru six. Star Trek Generations {or ST7} does have Capt Kirk in it, too, But that's everything for the classic crew.

Then if you want you could move onto The Next Gen, DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise. My opinion...don't watch Enterprise.
