Not true. There are 3 different ways television ads affect people: to amaze, to amuse, and to inform.

This commercial takes the role of the first. It's a risk since only roughly around 15% of consumerist population will retain the information. Businesses will have to rely that their audience has not seen anything similar in order to be successful.

What I wanted to see was a catchy motto. They usually double or triple the attention. If this had one, it would be perfect.

Perhaps its because I took a Consumer Psych class, or perhaps I strictly criticize videos in a certain website, or perhaps my vision had hit a bottom so I can't appreciate flashy effects anymore but I can't call this a good "commercial."

It doesn't really stick in my mind; lack of imperative action and too informational. Commercials on TV are quick, and feel like you have to do something. I guess I'm too bitter and picky now.

Ask yourself, does this really makes you buy a product? If so you belong to a consumerist group called "One Glance; Passerby" the easiest group to attract.

If anything, this commercial is like Billy Mays in a nice clean suit holding a sign that says "Oxiclean is cool." But he's not persuading you, just informing you.

I'm just saying; this is a good video, not a good commercial.
