That deputy with the AR who literally ran away when the officer was shot is a coward. He should have stepped out and laid down some cover fire for the officer or at least helped him. The Sheriff of all people, who was unarmed and not dressed for battle, had to drag the officer out of the line of fire. I hope they fired that deputy. There is no room for cowardice in law enforcement.
I have to agree with what usamarshall commented earlier in these comments. Why would you not keep shooting in front of the wounded officer, to protect him or another officer. There was no reason to pull out a Shotgun on this call or to take cover, if the scene is apparently clear you do not take cover. Her job was to take pictures and she was one of the best deputies we have in Clark County, Ohio.

i was looking for a uncensored video of this, leave it up, part of history and real life! it is a shame such a beatiful woman police officer was killed, my heart goes out for her family. one major problem i see here is the other officers using AR-15 assault rifles in a populated trailer park of all places, see all the exit holes on the suspects trailer? very very dangerous for civilians on the other side, even a mile down the road. shotguns and pistols would of been plenty of force here.

The article I read said the guy in the trailer had a shotgun and killed the woman police officer. The others try to get to her, but it's too late. There was a report the guy inside baracaded himself in there and took shots at other trailers.You see lots of bad cop videos on the net, but as bad as this video is it does show there are lots of good ones too. Very sad. I think the failure was they should have called SWAT and don't go up to the door to ask questions. Which seems to be the case.

We quickly forget that these induvuduals put their life on the line everyday to enforce our laws and protect our community. God Bless the fallen deputy and her family. There was no reason to pull out a Shotgun on this call or to take cover, if the scene is apparently clear you do not take cover. You can only stay hidden for so long before you need to move on to the next call and to finish your investigation. Her job was to take pictures and she was one of the best deputies we have in Clark County, Ohio.

i was looking for a uncensored video of this, leave it up, part of history and real life! it is a shame such a beatiful woman police officer was killed, my heart goes out for her family. one major problem i see here is the other officers using AR-15 assault rifles in a populated trailer park of all places, see all the exit holes on the suspects trailer? very very dangerous for civilians on the other side, even a mile down the road. shotguns and pistols would of been plenty of force here.

The article I read said the guy in the trailer had a shotgun and killed the woman police officer. The others try to get to her, but it's too late. There was a report the guy inside baracaded himself in there and took shots at other trailers.You see lots of bad cop videos on the net, but as bad as this video is it does show there are lots of good ones too. Very sad. I think the failure was they should have called SWAT and don't go up to the door to ask questions. Which seems to be the case.

@animateclay the call went out as shots fired in the area when Deputy Hopper and Sgt White responded they man's car wasnt @ the residence so the assumed he wasn't there ! not knowing his girlfriend had left in the car ! she was taken pictures of foot prints when the guy shot her close range point blank in the face ! and the closes SWAT in our area is dayton and they did respond because everytime they tried to retrive Dpt Hoppers Body He would open fire again !

I am deeply saddened by this tragedy. People take law enforcement for granted and get irritated if they get a ticket. We quickly forget that these induvuduals put their life on the line everyday to enforce our laws and protect our community. God Bless the fallen deputy and her family. I pray for their strength and understanding in such a hard time. Also for the officer shot and wounded as he attempted to fight his way to the fallen. My condolences to the entire police community today.
