As strong a personality he appeared to have on stage I can't help feeling he was fragile and I can understand his feeling lonely at times. With the kind of fame and money he had it must have been very difficult to make, trust and maintain friendships. I'm so happy that Freddie found a group of regular guys as friends. He looked genuinely happy and relaxed around them. Glad he found some normalcy, good times and good memories.

I think this video series is wonderful. I know Freddie was a private man, but his friends are not revealing anything too private. Are you shocked that a rock star partied a lot and had people lined up to have sex with them? I think it shows that gay or straight, most people are the same. It is the fact that Freddie's 'friends' and 'lovers' would talk so freely about his personal life when he tried for so many years to keep his private life separate from his career. This documentary is flawed. John Deacon, father and straight man, wrote "I Want to Break Free." If they took the time to watch the interview done in Rio, they would hear Freddie vehemently deny that the song is a "gay anthem." Thanks for posting this feature. I, unlike Channel 5, love to research. I watch all I can about Freddie and Queen, and I have not seen this documentary. Thanks again.
