I was about to order this from walmart online, as they claim it can be activated in my zip code. But a call to Net10 customer service reveals they will NOT activate it in my zipcode.

I am in an AT&T simm area- any ideas why the discrepancy? I can't get a straight abswer out of either one of them-Net10 or Walmart.

Does anyone know how the heck you change time/date with this? I have looked at the whole phone, but I can't change the date. I assume that when I get my new sim card it might set that for me, but my old phone let me change it.

@dancediva91698 I'm not one for frills, but it IS a smartphone, without the useless crap that some smartphones have. I'm going to see if a data cable will let me drag stuff to the phone, since it has an MP3 player and has good quality photo/mms capability. Also, if you can get $50/mo with the Net10 version, you get unlimited talk/sms/mms texting, and internet for email and whatever. But that's only $50 a month, no stupid service charges.

@vista120 It does work for sideways keyboarding, but I have better luck with my finger nails (I have long nails). For some reason the finger pads don't have much effect. It's not bad though, I can use the stylus pretty fast too. Heck of a lot better than the number pad as texting. Used it for years, but as I decided to grow my nails out, it's been more difficult.

I'm switching over to a different carrier because I'm so mad at the phone. It so hard to type a message with the phone, and it really doesn't look that great, it's a little smaller than I wanted it to be and overall i'd give it a 5/10. not worth the 79.99 youre gonna pay for it. HUGE disappointment. I find there 9.99 samsung phone better than this one......

@rockadelic07 This phone supports Java apps only, there are no java apps pre-installed. Looks like you have to purchase apps from NET10 (Tracfone) over the data connection. The phone is no good without the stylus, this is not a touch screen (using fingers) phone.
