  • Fly fishing is a patient man's game... I'm still working on it.

  • @cdcpmddun You have some of the best advise. Because of the hundreds of minute currents between you and the fish, the only way to consistently take rising fish on all the rivers here, is to stand above the fish, and just off to the side. False cast more line than you need ( 10ft ) well above and beyond the rise. On your last forward cast pull back on the rod and drop the fly no more than 5ft above the fish. Learned this from one of the most successful guides in the Catskills. Ken Tutallo

  • I just had the same type of luck on the east branch last week. Three days of fishing and only one fish. The fish there are sophisticated, unless you match the hatch and present flawlessly its near impossible. I love it!

  • is that like infront of were that huge mansion is on the way to downsvill

  • that looks like so many hours of my fishing

  • very nice scenery but no trout, shame. Which branch is this e or w? I doubt it's the main stem.
