  • What's wrong with the audio?!????

  • "I don't even know whats happening in this song, man.."

"..Its the fall of the Roman Empire.."

    "...Mannnnnnnnn.."

  • hey guys just so everyone knows!

elephant man was a real person named john merrick. He was a man with physical deformities and was in and out of freak shows most of his life.

The album cover shows him sleeping; he could not sleep like a normal person becuz of his deformities so it forced him to sit straight up.

Thumbs this up for all to see :)

  • @crazymatt117 It's kind of ironic that he has a alarm clock, as at the end of the film he goes to sleep like someone normally does, but dies in the process, so why would he need an alarm clock?

  • @cuntflap100 you are truly a cunt flap! Congrats! With a few handmovements you just ruined the fun for all us out there who hasn't gotten around to see the movie yet. Thanks for the fucking spoiler.

  • @cuntflap100 you are truly a cunt flap! Congrats! With a few handmovements you just ruined the fun for all us out there who hasn't gotten around to see the movie yet. Thanks for the fucking spoiler.

  • @crime1addict Just doing my best ;D

  • @cuntflap100 Maybe some form of resurrection, you see, the 'alarm clock' is a metaphor in some way, to a summoning or a ritual.. something along the lines of bringing him back. His alarm clock would be fast, loud and both emotionally and amazingly stunning, just enough to bring him back or some cheesy bullshit.

  • @ONLYMINEmeGOLD That actually makes sense, good to see other people think on my level.

  • Wait, you're telling me this isn't ear porn?

  • @swordcollection no its hardcore ear porn

  • funny story about b.h.and clocks.coo coo and grandfather clocks

  • I love it!

  • Funky and heavy metalish. At the same time no less!

  • Defenitelly one of my favorite harder albums by the buck master. Coo coo clocks is another good one too :)

  • Totally relates to a zombie attack

  • for those who don't understand the meaning of this album's title: the real elephant man (Joseph Merrick) couldn't sleep on his back so slept uncomfortably slouched forward. however he didn't get mush sleep because of his sleeping position and because the big hospital clock kept waking him up. One night he decided to sleep laying down as a form of "mercy suicide" and not even his "alarm clock" could awaken him.

  • @coolguyruben07 True! a beautiful movie, too!

  • buckethead is the mad man of the guitar. love buckethead

  • I wake up to this song every morning

  • @FearAbsence Wow! Than... That means....

You must be The Elephant Man! :P:D

  • 1:16-2:42= mildly epic headbanging sesh. lol

  • i have a headache now, BUT IT'S FUCKING WORTH IT :D

  • 1:48 epic drum win :D

  • Once my mom was driving me to school and I was like "Mom go to track 4...and uh turn it up..." so she did and Then it just started blaring so I said "Hows that for an alarm clock" :p

  • sounds kinda like Bumblefoot or John 5

  • This beginning is just like 200000012421 Elephant mans attacking you!

  • does he really mean '' the elephant man" the misshaped one. please tell me x (

  • @EmmaThomson2 Yeah, people generally mean the elephant man when they say the elephant man.

  • @EmmaThomson2

Yes, John Merrick is referenced in some of his other songs as well, like "John Merrick Elephant Man Bones Explosion" and in "Bloody Rainbow Spiraling Sherbert Scoop", the man from the McFadden family says his favorite ride is the John Merrick Elephant Man Bones Explosion. So yes, he is referencing the misshapen man Joseph (John) Merrick.

  • Kinda sounds like a spin off Flight of the Wounded Bumblebee, and other stuff put together.

  • 0:32 to 0:42 and 1:16 to 1:36 are freaking amazing

  • Is this album cover also designed by the great Dave McKean?

I love that this album is referencing Joseph Merrick.. the man with the elephant head

  • i hope to have an alarm clock like that someday. and the alarm is this song.

  • has any1 found any tabs 4 this i cant find them ANYWHERE!!!

tell me where if u do find them

  • The clock is now 04:30 and I startet watching Youtube at 01:00 with a video of America's funniest home videos and went through related videos.

I found myself watching rollercoaster rides, how to make a pizza pie, Lord of the rings parodies, World Championship of Whistling and ended up with this video.

And now I'm going to bed.

And I like to add...BUCKETHEAD RULES check out Disembodied Part 2

  • I wish I had an alarm clock like that D:

  • Wow,I thought this album would be full of weird songs like those from Buckethead 1&2. I changed my mind after listening to this.

  • 0:33 = some hcore chillin music!

  • 1:16 to 1:36 is my favorite part

  • it sounds like an elephant

  • i own bucketheadland, decoding the tomb of bansheebot, and cuckoo clocks of hell, but i think this is next on my list

  • you have to go to buckethead's toystore to buy them...i have pepper's ghost and monster & robots

  • yeah i know i figured that buckethead should have his own web but thanks anyways :P

  • you did mean badass song right?

  • Buckethead is an amazing guitarist, but his music is a bit too strange for my tastes, minus a few songs.

  • theres at least 50 good ones, not weird but chill and relaxed. just takes a while to find them all. but theyre there, by the bucket load

  • @theblackmanOyeah And many of the more experimental ones can be great too :D

  • i just use amazon. i have cuckoo clocks of hell and decoding the tomb of bansheebot.

    ima buy bucketheadland

  • love the outro :D

  • Does an elephant really listen to guitar when he wakes up ?

I wonder what a hippo's alarm clock is?

    Techno?

  • dude i almost shit my pants on the beging

  • whoah! why is my schlong hard???

  • hes so fucking awesome

  • this song is werid lol

  • if could id set this as my alarm clock lol

  • i was just trying to figure out how to do that. i wonder if i could download it to my phone somehow and use that alarm..it wouldnt be as intense as my fucking 7 speaker system though lol.

  • they have alarm clock progs for ur comp that u could use the mp3 with

  • some parts sound like a train horn.

  • I don't know if it is just a coincidence, but in the life of Joeseph Merrick (The Elephants Man) he was chased in a train station and then collapses of self exhaustion. Probably a coincidence. There was an amazing movie made about his life though.

  • It's John Merrick. It's not a coincidence, Buckethead titled the album after him and it refers to the scene where he's woken by a gang beating him.

  • You people are idiots. We watched "The Elephant Man" in a social studies class and had to write essays on why he was treated that why (politics wise). I saw the movie two years before the album even came out.

  • ....Sorry what? What has you writing an essay on the movie have to do with what I said?

  • can't find tabs for this anywhere

  • Sounds like a mutant baby crying at the beginning, like Chauncey from Luigi's Mansion.

    Cool song, though.

  • I agree with Firehendrix, does sound like something in Luigi's mansion

  • The album name has some irony, alot of people told John Merrick to never wake up and yet the name is elephant man's alarm clock, get it? no, oh well

  • I get it....... LOL

  • i am scared of that shit lol

  • Comment removed

  • Go buy it you shrew! Limewire is for rodents!

  • Good for you. Why don't you go buy the album you idiot downloader.

  • MarioBrothersX, You can't buy the album, it's more than likely out of print like most of Bucketheads albums and Buckethead is a bitch to get hold of in stores.... so downloading is probably the only option, sadly buckethead wont make any profit this way...

  • If only We of the many rock genres had a FifthElement store

  • you can buy this on TDRS

    either print or download

  • this album was released in 2008....

  • Yet you have no problem listening to and favoriting what you enjoy.

  • the irony is so sweet i believe im getting sick from it.

  • Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Buckethead album?

  • Yes! They're impossible to find. I found Enter the Chicken, but that's all =/ I want this album

  • Comment removed

  • You can get most of his albums from TDRS Music. They cost $15 each. If ordering from the UK, it works out as about £13 with postage.

  • downloading music is for people who has not enough money and like music very much...

    Like me.

  • Indeed.

When I make decent money I will buy his albums, though.

  • Whos the elephant man

  • google him, hes some deformed guy from like the 20s or something

  • Joseph Carey Merrick. He was one of the first documented cases of Proteus syndrome. They called him the elephant man in the circus.

  • yea, he had tumors on almost every one of his nerves on the right side of his body and he looked really weird. he actually died at the age of like 30 or osmethin because he fell asleep on his chest and the tumors suffocated him

  • an adittion. he tried to sleep as regular people. he usually slept sitting. he put his head on a pillow and hes neck broke of overload. sadly

  • Good thing this is back in the day because it wouldn't fly these days hehe.

  • By back in the day you mean 2006?

  • and the red ho chili peppers said he coulnt bust a groove....
