Well, if you had ever paid attention to the story line you would know he has to impress that guy and his two friends before he can go into iggy's ranch, so he does stuff for them but more importantly he acts like they act. The guy that was in the clip was known for being an awkward nerd, so your character acts like a nerd. Just like how he acts tough with the tough guy and cool with the cool guy.

American Wasteland probably had one of the most defined story lines in the THPS series, i mean honestly A outkast tool goes to LA to start over and instead finds a skate gang to help build an unrealistic skatepark, but still good story line but too defined.
