I already loved her on Cybill, she is fab as Leonard's mum and has won 2 Emmy for that. An d I also enjoyed her so much in a role as man eater on Mamma Mia. For me she is the American Joanna Lumley! Dr. Laura actually does have some pretty severe mother issues. Yolanda Schlessinger was found in her apartment two months after she passed away, and the body remained unclaimed for some time. Laura didn't even know her mom had died; they hadn't spoken in some 20 years.
