My opinions on the Metroid Prime Trilogy

Metroid Prime 1: It's an awesome game.

Metroid Prime 2 Echoes: Meh, it's still awesome. The puzzles in my opinion are more challenging than in the first one.

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption: Haven't played it yet, but I bet it's still awesome.

metroid prime 2 was pretty disappointing to be honest. the light and dark worlds was not very original. just stuck to power beam pretty much lol. metroid prime 1 for gamecube is the best of the 3D versions of metroid.

One thing Im confused on bout the Metroid Prime series is, Samus ship in Prime2 Echoes is just like the one from Super Metroid. But in Prime3 Corruption her ship changes design, then, when we go to Super Metroid (Metroid 3), her ship looks the same as Echoes again lol.

@327Vex It sure does cus its the one thing I havnt been able to work out about her ship lol. Ok so the morph ball u say, well as we all shud know the Chozo built Samus Power Suit, and infused her with their DNA. The Power Suit is made of a unknown substance, organic in nature, stronger than any metal, it reacts with the DNA and her body, which enables her to morph with its structure into a form of energy. Of which the Chozo had been known to b capable of doing themselves.

She needed the ship in Corruption for it's fire power, while the in Other M it was more of an investigative mission so she used her other ship.

@327Vex Yeh the one in Other M is her original Gunship, the one in complete yellow. I read in comics that her ship from Prime1 was a upgraded version of her original and only licensed ship from Zero Mission, which lead me to believe she constantly upgraded the same ship. But once Echoes and Corruption left that confusion, it has left me with that same conclusion that she simply uses a number of ships for different missions, for now anyway lol.

@mackroh Well, its the longest, its map is the most confusing, the bosses take the longest, and emperor Ing is definitely the hardest of the final bosses. That along with the constant pain you recieve for just being in the dark world until practically the end of the game...My favorite is Fusion, btw, hooray for us oldies that actually played the old games :)

The only Metroid games I don't like are Pinball (just a boring pinball) and Zero Mission (not a good remake, too changed and that extension after Mother Brain sucks). Good thing they don't interfere in the storyline. I LOVE ALL OTHERS, they have creative plots, cool gameplays and good graphics for the time they're released.

MY FAVOURITE IS METROID 2 because it's completely new and different from the 1st, and told more about the metroids than any other. Metroid Queen is the coolest enemy ever!
