Bani-Sadr was told if he didn't accept the deal, the same woud be made to his rivals and his life would be in question. It's not an act of war when Americans are telling you if you release the hostages you're dead.

Actually in Israel women are segregated in buses and get beated up if they dare to not comply; there are even certain sidewalks in Orthodox communities where ONLY men are allowed to walk. In Israel the women even have to ask permission from their husbands if they want to get a divorce!!
And yes if you look at the history of Israel it was founded solely upon terrorism and continues to use terrorism willy-nilly (ie: the Lavon Affair).
