We should thank Dave Shealy for the Skunk-ape Research Center. He's a knowledgeable naturalist, which is a rarity in the BC where most folks just go to buggy hunt and tell jokes they can't chance telling in town. The state put a boot camp, a 10,000 acre university which creates a whole new city, and god knows what's next in the BC area. Once we've developed everywhere, there won't be any doubt about the skunk ape, and that will be a sad day. Run, skunk-ape, run!

Before the skunk ape hit the media, Shealy did a "lima-bean set" to get the skunk ape to show itself. He set out a pail of beans, and the beans disappeared, and there were big, big footprints all over the bean-set. He showed me the prints. They didn't look human, I'll say that. It was a short time after that that the skunk ape startled a bus of tourists. One woman in particular approached closer and the skunk ape was in an obvious state of sexual excitement. I think there was video of that.

I saw him on this bigfoot documentary on the travel channel and there was something about him, but on this video it looks liked he put some weight on his face, I wish him well with the skunk ape - trying to make a living off it for drugs .

I do think that the legends of Sasquatch in general are real, but a lot of researchers don't like this guy and many people say that there are escaped chimpanzees from pet owners and zoos in south Florida. We know for 100 % certainty that because of releasing pythons, south Florida is now FULL of a foreign species, the same could be true of chimps or some other ape being released. All it takes is 2 and they can start a population. I agree with what he says about the government involved though.

i grew up in north Miami and went hunting in those woods for the 15 years i know David Shealy i camped at trail lakes for years with my father sum of the best years of my life growing up there riding four wheelers all night on turner river road and and hunting with my dad in the day time i shot my first deer right across the street from the camp ill never forget those days
