  • nice prediction.

  • Wu-tang T-shirt ;D

  • Thanks Strikehearts. i was in Vegas and true it was a KO in 2. I counted a lot of papers. I wonder if I can send strikehearts a case of Bud Light for this!!!!!

  • Yuengling my friend...

  • I find it odd that the boxing media would hype Hatton when he is so terrible and overrated. I thought Hatton was better then this.

  • Hatton has a rediculous number of British fans, a lot of it has to do with the money. It's alway about the money.

  • nice wu tang shirt and great prediction

  • I find myself wondering if Mayweather Sr. had a negative influence on Hatton - he looked tentative from the get go. Hatton did try to swarm Pacquiao, but I think trying to turn him into a boxer made him apprhehensive in the ring.

Personally, I still don't think this makes Pacquiao P4P number #1 because Hatton was never the best boxer. Had Pacquiao been a natural 140 pounder like Hatton, I would have predicted Pacquiao for the win based on ability. That said, I won't underestimate him again.

  • did you notive when hatton started moving his head he didn't get hit as much?

  • how the hell are you going to say pacman aint p4p #1? are you fucking retarded or something? look how many weight classes he has been in and demolishing his opponents.

  • I don't think Hatton was ever #1, so why would beating him make Pacquiao #1. Hatton had one real name on his resume in beating Kostya tzsu and he lost to Collazo in my oppinion. In general, I feel he has always been overrated, but I still thought Hatton's style would cause more problems for Pac. I am the first one to admit that I was wrong.

Let's see what happens when Pacquiao fights better quality opponents, names like Mosely, Mayweather, etc. If he beats them then I'll concede.

  • Hey dont be an asshole and admit pacman is p4p #1 . Nobody has destroyed hatton that destructive letting him sleep. Pacman now has won titles in 6 weight division. Get ur facts straight u cunt!

  • yeh pacman won the fight..knockout!round 2

  • I'm picking Ricky Hatton. I've never really liked Hatton, but I think his style combined with his natural size and strength advantage will prove to be Paquiao's downfall. Mayweather figured out a way to catch Ricky coming in and avoid punishment when Ricky was swarming him on the inside. If Ricky can make this an inside fight, I don't see Paquiao having the defense to keep him at bay, and he doesn't time people like Mayweather. I'm very curious to see how Paquiao deals with the pressure.

  • hatton maybe moving his head this time but a moving head is still an easy target for manny's lightning speed & power punches. he beat fundamental boxers the likes of barrera, morales, & marquez. these guys are good defensive fighters and can brawl when called for, but they succumbed to manny's brute power punches. manny's great stamina will be a key factor too. he fights every minute of each round and he fights to knock out his opponent. hatton cant keep up with manny. manny by KO in round 6.

  • Great Analysis as always. I will be in Vegas for this fight and will be counting a lot of papers if this comes true!!

  • why in the world do you say hatton can ko manny!

can't you see in his last fights, he has no power.! again,NO POWER! he can't even put the craggy malignaggi down....why? cause he has no power like pacman. that's 1 problem his facing since he fought floyd....he lost his power!

  • Im sure that Ricky was going through his new routine in his last fight, he came out totally different and was trying to move his head and get his jab going. I don't think he was the finished article against Pauli either, though to be fair he walked through him and if Pauli hadn't have been holding in like a koala bear he'd have hit the deck a couple of times.

I'm a Ricky fan and think he'll do a number on Manny.

  • hendrix playing and a wu tang shirt. hell yeah son. like both boxers, but pulling for a pacman victory.

  • I'm have to disagree with you again strikehearts. I'm going for Hatton on this prediction (like 55% sure about this), and it's more about me not being a big fan of either fighter.

  • i like em both...i just think manny has abilities which make it his choice to win or lose if he fights the correct fight he is almost assured to win if he loses it will be because he had to wrong plan

  • I wonder how much the pressure is going to effect Manny, the deciding factor in this fight will be the referee.

If the referee pulls apart any clinches from the start things will be easier for Manny, but if the clinches are pretty active I have Ricky.

I've heard all month a leopard doesn't change it's spots in the same sentence that I'm hearing Manny is a different fighter?.

Ricky's got this one by pressure and grit.

  • the evidence is there to prove manny is different, i'm not sayiing it's impossible for ricky to change im saying there isn't enough evidence yet and to a certain extent im asking why is it he should change

  • Yeh I know what you're saying, but with no pressure from Delahoya I think he was able to stick to his game plan far easier than fighting a guy that's going to be throwing them back with venom.

I expect Ricky'll look a bit silly at times and will need that chin of his, but in the end will show why he's lost only one fight.

  • everyone, including me of course,is pleased on ricky's record consisting only of 1 defeat. the defeat to boxing's best. but im sure ricky's gonna have a hard time with manny. he is just fast and everyone says ricky has edge in strength but what do you think of manny, a guy with minimal strength? this will be a great fight to watch and i can't picture out ricky knocking manny, all i can see is the other hand...

  • I know what you mean dude, I'm English so it's easy to be biased, but last week I heard a lot of the same stuff about FrochTaylor, though I knew about Taylors stamina issues, but I stuck with my countryman.

I know there will be trash talk and i know Manny will as ever bring his A game, it was frightening seeing how well he bulked up for DLH and how much speed he retained with it!!.

I'm sticking with Ricky though, he might need to go into the trenches but I know he'll go till hard till the end.

  • genius analysis

  • hatton will fight off the clinch..

he's just goin to rush inside and push pacquiao against the rope or trap him in corners..

but he will have problems in doing that.

he will eat a lot of right hooks, jabs, uppercuts and left straights from pacquiao..

we all know pacquiao has that ko power and i dont think hatton's chin, neither his body could take pacquiao's power punches..

hatton wil be out of his gameplan once he got hit with those punches...

    very nice analysis...

  • Great solid analysis! you should get in touch with therewillbeblood fight show and do a video with all them guys that would be great. Manny pac-man by stoppage/Ko by 8. My prediction keeps differing every day lol.

  • One this I have 2 disagree with. IMO Hatton showed definite improvement in the Magginati fight (excluding 1st round) in terms of head movement rather than rushing in and getting caught . In all probability Manny will have too much speed, will keep it in the centre of the ring and paste Hatton with combinations although Hatton definitely has a good chance if he can catch Manny.

  • Gr8 taste in music! Good analysis.

  • I meant Floyd.

  • Cool shirt. Your vid makes me wonder if Manny would be even close to the fighter he is if he weren't under the tutelage of Roach.

Question, do you think Manny will look more impressive against Ricky than Flod did?

  • it all depends on how smart he fights, but it's very possible

  • Manny kod diaz in the 9th and Hattons better than Diaz. But i have pacman late tko or ko or ud,peace

  • good point

  • Diaz was covering his face that's why he lasted 9 rounds. de la hoya was not covering his face and received left straights all night from pacquiao he lasted

8 rounds and quit. hatton will last only 6 or 7 because his defence is worse than de la hoya. speed and straight left is the key.

  • easy to look good vs diaz n oscar. nice wutang shirt and Hendrix in the background.good vid but i see ricky lasting at least past the 9th.

  • great analysis.
