gtr's dont have 4wd. its awd and im pretty sure they dont use it when they drag. the rule is that the tranny has to be awd, not that you have to run it awd. if you'v watched it they burn out the rear wheels only and the car loses traction a lot on the track. with awd that wouldnt happen. rwd is better on the strip because slicks give it enough traction and rwd has faster acceleration at higher speeds and its lighter
