This chemical reaction is a great object lesson to teach kids about sin. We are doing a series called, "Transformers", using objects to show how God wants to transform our lives. Christianity is more than just following a religion, it's letting God transform our lives.

I just practiced this "experiment" and it really does work, exactly as you see in the video. You use plain water, Iodine mixed with water, and bleach mixed with water, and do it exactly as you see it on the video! Thanks!

This is possible to do. I did it in my chemistry class last year. Even though the chemicals were different, the concept is still possible.

All you need is iodine diluted in water and then household bleach diluted in water.
