It's hard, especially at 150-plus mph. There's a risk in everything, from designated track racing to walking down the street. So why not roll the dice doing something you love?

I've been up to 120MPH on a motorcycle; it's crazy fast. I can see how this happened; even with him being a pro. 1/5 th of a second is about all it takes to find yourself in a Hospital bed, if your lucky. It's strange how you get used to going fast and it becomes the norm, until you slow down to 70mph and feel like your sitting still.

MotoGP riders respect that race.They don't do it more than 2 or 3 time because of the big difference there is between GP race (maximum security) and This Race (maximum freedom).
most of these riders do race around circuits weather its BSB or smaller forms of racing, but overal there road racers. Circuit racing isnt enough for them. This is the ultimate bike race in the world and has been going around for over 100 years.

I'm hoping to do the TT when I'm 18 :) I'm 13 now and have wanted to do it since I was about 6 or 7, I have so much respect for everyone who does it because it is such a physical circuit and the mental preparation you need to be able to do it is insane. Why do we do it? Because we love the sport. Haters of this wonderful race... You have no idea how much this means to the true bikers. It is truly amazing. Hate all you want, it will never stop us from doing it.

I can see how this happened; even with him being a pro. 1/5 th of a second is about all it takes to find yourself in a Hospital bed, if your lucky. It's strange how you get used to going fast and it becomes the norm, until you slow down to 70mph and feel like your sitting still.

I object to motorbikes disturbing the peace on main roads, I find it totally obnoxious, selfish behaviour, bikes need to have silencers on their engines, do you really think we all want to listen to your penis extensions giving us all a heart attack every time you go past?

try trial riding lads, lot safer and you can have a laugh with eachother trying to get up rocks and banks and whatever.....very sociable trial biking cos the bikes are very quiet due to the gear ratio's.....i like superbikes but i would never get on another one after the things ive seen.......even the greatest riders can come off and kill themselves......R.I.P to all riders.

most of these riders do race around circuits weather its BSB or smaller forms of racing, but overal there road racers. Circuit racing isnt enough for them. This is the ultimate bike race in the world and has been going around for over 100 years.

Haters gonna hate.... I'm hoping to do the TT when I'm 18 :) I'm 13 now and have wanted to do it since I was about 6 or 7, I have so much respect for everyone who does it because it is such a physical circuit and the mental preparation you need to be able to do it is insane. Why do we do it? Because we love the sport. Haters of this wonderful race... You have no idea how much this means to the true bikers. It is truly amazing. Hate all you want, it will never stop us from doing it.

@Pettet34 You won't be doing the TT when you're 18. You don't have near the experience. Maybe late 20's-30's if you somehow become an insane standout rider, which is doubtful to happen.

Its not the TT that I specifically want to do although it would be some achievement, just going out there and riding the course is something of a dream. I'm not expecting to do an Ian Hutchinson or anything!

@Alientank Don't say that kind of thing. I met David Haye, a young confident 17 year old from Catford who at 12 1/2 stone told me he was going to be the world heavy weight champion. That was back in 2000 and in 2010 he did just that.
Never dash peoples hopes and dreams as some of them are the real deal.....
