I saw Matt Borne at a real small indy show in Portland. I'm from there and I think he is as well. I thought it would be a real honor to meet him, went in for a handshake and he gave me a soft half-assed handshake and kept walking right on by me, didn't say nothing. I was blown away. He was the only "famous" wrestler I'd ever met. I'm not gonna bash the guy but I was just surprised that he didn't have the decency to have a 30 second conversation with a fan who wanted to meet him.

@EnforcerX71 Thank you for agreeing that he was a UWF main-eventer, it almost makes up the ridiculous statement that he "hung on" to DiBiase, you forgot to include his main events with The Freebirds, Kamala, Krusher Kruschev/Nikolai Volkoff, Butch Reed, Buzz Sawyer, One Man Gang, Hercules Hernandez, Dr Death, and Devastation Inc that continued from 82-87.

@EnforcerX71 And as far as "comedy" babyfaces go---well, got news for you, they were all "comedy" babyfaces as soon as they entered McMahonland (no one more so than Doink). Whatever your criteria is for lower/upper midcarders is up in the air, but when the guy is in feuds with Andre the Giant, challenging for the IC belt on Saturday Night Main Event, and (in your words) tagging with Hogan, he's a little further up the ladder than Corporal Kirschner and Koko B Ware

@EnforcerX71 Never any higher than midcard? He had a feuds against main eventers like Macho Man and was his team leader at survivor series against Macho and was also King back when that had more prestige than it does now. I think its fair to see he was an upper mid card for a while anyway.

@DanchElmore You are so correct. I really think WWE dropped the ball (Big F'n surprise) with Evil Doink, he was so ahead of his time. They killed a great character by wimping out and turning the once disturbing and different Doink into a candy ass babyface gimmick. Imagine how awesome Evil Doink with a gang of evil midget Doinks hiding under the ring would be! As Sheiky baby might say "Fuck the Hornswoggle!"

Duggan was NY state champion wrestler in high school, played college football, and also for the Atlanta Falcons. I dont know who would win this fight, but Duggan isn't some chump that people make him out to be.
