  • we're playing those mind games together.. doing the ritual dance in the sun, putting the soul power to the karmic wheel, the search for the grial... Love is the answer and you know that for sure we're playing those mind games forever

  • Still gives me chills even though I've listen to this so many times

  • Happy aniversary , Mind Games!!!

  • Live on John.

  • @3303milehigh It solved Hitler

  • Gänsehaut ... :-)

  • It's amazing that so many believe the myth about John Lennon. He was nothing like what many of you believe he was. Ask his son Julian.

  • @TELEVISIONARCHIVES nobody's perfect

  • I believe my mother played too many 'Mind Games' with me when I was growing up. I think she should stop. I can feel what you're saying, Johnny! They suck!

  • He was Human. Had a direct link to the man. End of!

  • Most people are forced to agree that his (attempt at) music was brilliant but in reality its just a novelty. All and all lennon was, and forever will be a hypocrite.

  • Mmmm everybody plays mind games

  • He's so good I might say he is God in our minds.

  • @iespa2012 Read 'The Invisibles', by Grant Morrison. ;)

  • John's mother did the world an enormous favor by teaching him to express himself in music.

  • John told it like it is...

  • That is one of my favorite of John

  • I still believe the government saw him and his genius as a subversive threat to the "mind games" they planned for this generation, thus conspiring to have him murdered as the "solution" to this mans gentle, peaceful attack on societies wrongs.

  • Why does America kill such good people? Martin Luther King, JFK, Lennon, Robert Kennedy. RIP

  • @chea13 Lmao

  • La letra de esta canción me hace llorar..

The lyrics of this song make me cray....

  • Love is the answer, and you know that for sure (8) !.

  • we ♥ you, we miss you

  • My favorite post beatles Lennon Song.

  • Good mind hear @lennonmori

  • Hot joint! I'm

    Luvin it !!!!!!!!

  • 1 guy is a Beiber Fan r - r and LOVES violence

  • it hurts just like 30 years ago

  • @birdhasflown1 and it still hurts now.

  • the musical genius of a millenium. . . . .and that f..king idiot with a gun deprived the world of all he had to give

  • @305zzzz with it death is sing deeper to some not me i say live and let live i belive they fed that dude some bs and gave him the stop the message dont think they suceeded do you

  • One of my favourite songs by John Lennon, with #9 Dream, Strawberry Fields Forever, Dear Prudence, Dig A Pony, I'm Losing You, Real Love, ETC..., i LOvE This SOng, love is the answer and you know that, i'm sure, you gotta let it go!

  • @theblehedgehog Watching The Wheels... John is God!!!

  • God, I LOVE this song. The music is so good. And slide up the last note played on the guitar is beautiful.

  • The greatest of musical talents , a legend ..... I'm 55 and have missed him for the past 30 years , very very much...

  • I love you SO much John L. SO much

  • R.I.P. Lennon, I love you

  • He was the coolest!

  • No man since was felt thru music/humanity the way Lennon was. We love hearing you sing John.RIP

  • this is a brilliant record

  • Still remembered after 30 years. RIP

  • His death is such a sad loss to the tapestry of humanity, but yet the way he died was so avoidable, like the way Tupac died.

  • what would John Lennon do and say today? And what kind of music ...

  • I watched LennonNYC last night on PBS, and I was reminded of how wonderful and human this man was. He had his downfalls, but he was a great man who did not care about color, or how much money you had. He cared about people, all people, and he is missed by his family and all of us as well. The one thing that we are blessed with is his home movies, which Yoko shares, and his beautiful music. His voice is everlasting, and his message is received.......R.I.P. John, we miss you...........

  • Happy Birthday John. Wish I could do what YO said today but I'm out in the woods without a cam. But thank you for your love, your peace, your spirit. Your song still hits me like a brick 30 years on, but your heart was doing all the talking. Miss you. And so does this crazy world.

  • well, the mind is THE game, the cross we all bear 'cause most all of us have one , terrible thing to waste? YAW, but you can give it away, pieces of it ... piece by piece, nueron synapse by ... and yada yada -- meditation likely would have little effect on the mind-game -- paradigm shift, maybe -- metaphysical transformation, perhaps -- So, Aristotle, Socrates, Jesus, Buddha et al where are you when we need you ...

  • @davidfaubion 2nd thought, having listened closely here, Johnathon would have deconstructed the games nicely had he live a few more decades ...

  • His guiding spirit of music will always be with us. Remember everyone - for everything we take with us, there is something we leave behind. John Lennon left us all a wonderful legacy in his music. We can all puff out our chests and stand on tip-toes and be proud that such a man came along. Stars like John Lennon are like beautiful meteors streaking colourfully across the night sky, we see the fire, the flash and the brilliance. We stand in wonder and awe , then all-too-soon........they are gone.

  • Whats that John Lennon song that has the lyrics "dont care about Elvis, dont care about the Beatles"????? thanks

  • @ogfunk187 God

  • john is not this saint everyone makes him out to be, but his message was positive for the most part.

  • Murdered by Michael Jackson's hells disciple.

No wonder Paul McCartney never liked Jackson.

  • Amazing! That is exactly what this world needs!Peace and Love! But these dumb people who are controlling our country keep going for war! Jerks!

  • going into Tiffany's for a hot dog LMAO

  • What does he say on the begging of the video ???

  • the greatest loss to music ever........John Lennon - love you, RIP.

  • YT, I totally agree!

  • thanks lennon, thank you all you guys for sharing this good vibrations...and Lennon, just like everyone else, had his failures, and we know it...nevertheless all the love he made -and still makes- feel to all of us is way more trascendent...he remind us to love, that´s it...is not always easy but we all want the same.

  • John has left such a rich legacy but it may be of benefit to discuss his demons as well. Musically he was a genius but as someone said he did desert his family. I wonder if his kids resent him when they hear strangers talk about him with such reverence when in life he failed as a father and husband.

  • @supercooled We all fail at times, many times- it's what makes us human;

Let's not judge, enjoy his legacy.

  • @supercooled john abandoned julian, not sean (not intentionally, sean was 5 when he was shot). julian gets upset when people approach him about how his father was a great guy, but john did everything and more for sean

  • Love is a flower....you've got to let it......you've got let it grow!!!

  • Why can a human shoot another one? It´s so sad...

  • гениально.а все гонят на бедную Йоко.слава Богу,меня тут никто не понимает.Идиоты те,кто считают ее сукой

  • I LOVE YOU JOHN!!!

  • glad he spoke in tune about mind games cos it happens alover world we walk on b4 transport think on its a message to us lot

  • John Lennon ,a real Star. R.I.P John. Thanks for posting it.

  • Yes? imagine all the anti christ pro communist anti American values he pumped down people's throat. The veitam war was to keep the murderous spreading of communisum as a global threat. So these things he represented. Watch the rock and roll sorcerers. And yes The Gov might have put down a subversive who was a guest. That wanted 2 cripple our great nation. Fuck your slave/murderous/religous persicuting Karel Marx. Yes? no classes? no possions? just a state run economy, and Gov.

  • shanedevins -

What are you trying to say?

Trying reading what you typed out loud - I think you will find that you are not successfully communicating your message.

    PEACE :-D

  • @shanedevins you would call Vietnam a success? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

you may want to rephrase your spew

  • fuck dying!

  • Wonderful song and video of John having a good day around NYC. Fantastic and moving lyrics as well. Thanks for the wonderful song and post here on YouTube.

  • This song is Powerfull is Dangerous .But make crying ,John Lennon is a good singer.

  • incredible

  • John Lennon was a True God, a poet, and a legend that will never die. RIP Forever.

  • @Crimson126 you fucked it up with god.

  • @yourtwistedable I didn't fuck anything up, your opinion is pointless and should be taken with a grain of salt. I believe what I said was true and many people agree with me. If you'd like to state your own beliefs or ingenius opinions about John Lennon then go right ahead and type a second comment in the box and hopefully others will agree with you and then finally you can be on my level. Until then, stop wasting my time having me go back to a page w/ my highly rated comment on it from yrs ago.

  • @Crimson126 wow, sorry mister high rated comments. Im gonna try not to send you more comments cause they arent in the same level as yours. By the way, why are my comments non valuable? Likes make them better? I'm shocked this comes from a lennon fan, lennon would be disgusted by you just to let you know. Gods don't die or talk crap just to let you know.

  • @Crimson126 he was a good musician, and he hadsome well-written lyrics, but I wouldn't go that far to call his a god.

  • @nosoytaliban Oh boy, another one of those comments.... Sure I guess you can say that, and I guess you can say that all humans aren't Gods. So what, frankly anyone you can truly look up to and honor should be worth being somewhat of a "Godly figure" in ur eyes. ever heard the statement " a Mother is a God in the eyes of a child"?? just an example, but honestly, it's what he did that matters..or well, tryed to do.

  • @Crimson126 no no no, I don't think you get my point here: I'm not saying he was a god because of the roots of your god-human idea, all I'm saying is that I don't consider him the greatest musician in history of mankind... a real genious? W A Mozart: he was a god in my eyes.

  • @nosoytaliban You know what, To each his own. Apparently I can't stress that enough on Youtube, ughh. IDK maybe it's just me but I feel when I visit an artist's page or a video of that artist, Most people seem to be on the same page... just saying

  • @Crimson126 we're not on the same page, no harm done here

  • WTF? ya he did...yokos his love u dumbshit

  • And you are perfect? 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!'

  • Ja, ja!!! That Losers? Should dye...

  • THE US GOVERNMENT KILLED JOHN because of his speeches ..if only he were alive today imagine the songs he would have written with all this crap going on ,,,his files are confidential at FBI

  • ah lennon es la maxima exponecia de la musica inglesa viva lennon y su musica por siempre carajooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you John

  • The sound byte at the start must be in reference to the attempted deportation of Lennon by the Nixon government. Until that mess was cleared up he was technically supposed to GTFO but hadn't been actually forced to.

  • Hey Squirrly, the word is drivel, not dribble. Good to get it right when you're playing grammar nanny on the net.

Peace bro, that one's for free.

  • Yeah, and Squirrly... "beforehand" is what you meant to say. It's a compound word, not a phrase. I'm really beginning to doubt your grammar nanny credentials.

  • incredible

  • Love this song! Heard nice bite about Lennon. Duff left the Quarry Men early on and became a stockbroker. Lennon met him later, and said hello - said he was a "stock breaker" - Well they are breakers! The poet says it all in two words!

  • Two of the world's most self-indulged people; "John and Yoko". They met while both married, basically alienated everyone they knew before hand and spent a decade passing time as would-be radicals. Nice.

  • you have no unerstanding of peace ASSHOLE

  • So says the foul-mouthed brettammi. "Peace" isn't a difficult concept; in fact it is once of the easiest things for a human being to understand. Having these two seen as somehow being above all else where "peace" is concerned by a group of idol-worshiping clowns who haven't a clue as to how the world really functions isn't something you should hold on to. Everything I said about them below is true.

  • to squirleybut tomoro morning when i shit i will think of you ASSHOLE

  • While you're at it, why not learn how to spell and use proper punctuation you intolerant simpleton. It is obvious to anyone by reading your sophomoric dribble that you are at best a hypocrite and more likely, a shallow individual who clearly wouldn't have been well received by John/Yoko had they met you. Loosen up Frances, everyone is entitled to an opinion and if you don't like, use facts and/or logic to make your case and try staying away from the moronic efforts you've put forth.

  • dribble yer way outta here bitch

  • Beautiful, inspiring song. I just played this for my 9 yo daughter, who is into the Beatles. Thanks for posting it.

If I remember correctly, the ladder with the magnifying glass resting on the top step, and the tiny "yes" on the wall was one of Yoko's exhibits at an art show, where John first met her.

Soul power to the karmic wheel!

  • He was and still is my hero, i was 12 when he died but i listened to him and the beatles in my edroom all the time from the age of about 6 .. i listen to him when my moods are on a downer and feel much better .. he was the master and his music lives on forever

  • Beautiful song!

  • esta cancion me llega al alma me dan ganas de llorar

  • A mi entender este tema está entre las mejores 5 canciones de toda la historia del rock. Muy elevado, en todos los sentidos...

  • Me estremece. "Fe en el futuro a partir de ahora..." John Lennon.

  • beautiful song

  • el mejor john

    amo esta cancion

  • Man. I never have the feeling "to be loved", my father left me since I was only 1 years old, my days were full of tragedies and hatred...until I knew John and his enchanting voice.

  • I'm sure Lennon's had a strange way to change lifes, mine for example, your for example.

    Rest in Peace John Lennon.

  • To be loved is the most wonderfull feeling you will ever have, and believe somewhere, out there in the universe, is your other half waiting for you to be complete.

  • in all the woo haa about michael jackson... which is rubbish.

    here is a real popstar.

    Lennon RIP.

  • Qué buen video... No tengo palabras para expresar esto, sólo piel de gallina...

  • good song

  • si elvis fue el rey del rock lennon es el dios

  • @rivil1983 es un comentario bastante curioso considerando que escribió una canción que se llama "god" y dice "i just believe in me"

  • y love you john

  • John, you are on everyone's path already screaming stand by me, by the world, by Love.

Wherever you are I send you my love.

Wake Up People, Wake Up Love!

  • @telemagico happy birthday, god of love.

  • @Atomicflash500 Sometimes a child can know the truth. The truth is that war is no good for anyone, even the people who make enormous profits from it and gain power from it. You have to be sociopathic to be so insensitive to other people's suffering. I think the media encourages a form of sociopathy in modern society. John was brash but he was also brave.

  • They killed him for speaking his mind it was a set up,John was giving great speeches against the governments .He has been missed ,try to watch the documentry how badly US A wanted him out of here some parts still confidential at FBI

  • love is the anwser you gotta let it grow, simple words.

jesus knew people and could see we capable of peace on earth it will come but only though a revelation.

  • when you exspose things you only become ridiculed or oject of haterd, you allown can not change things.

  • Just for those who don't get it...the word is "YES"... the challenge is how do we get everyone to "YES"

  • peace will come for mankind only after mass destruction as a result of greed.

  • there are other ways ... I hope

  • I think the clip at 2.45 is the really clever one...the start of a meeting of minds and a deep love affair.

  • nice hat and jacket too

  • best part is 1:03

    cool cat he was !

  • coolest part is 1:03

    cool cat he was !

  • Such a beautiful song and video. One of my John Lennon favorites
