Range: 8000 km (vs 747 13,450 km, jet engine, though the tu 95 was made to specifically bomb the US)

Concorde crashed because When it was clerd for takeoff it went down the runway when it reched its takeoff speed a bit of metel on the runway left by a 747 burst the tire and a chunk of it hit the fule tank and it berst and engin 1 + 2 was on fire it crashed on a hotel 503 people died :(

Afterburners are linked to the throttle. There are also manual reheats that are turned on below the throttle. Visor is lowered with the Flaps keys. All passenger liners are mandated by the law to have a black box.

first you need the programm that made the afterburners...

when you installed it press the boutton for "all lights on"

i did not know that the concorde had a blackbox. i mean i know all planes need one but the concorde does not look like the type.

Anyway the wire tried connecting to the other side of the wire, but sadly, it caused sparks. it set the jet fuel on fire... 20 seconds later, the concorde gets into 140 knots speed, 30ft. 10 seconds after that... the plane started to turn on its own to the left. The aircraft lost control. and stalled into a hotel. killing all 113 people onboard. and 4 on the ground.

Just before air france 4590 took off... a continental mcdonald douglas DC-10 took off, a few weeks before, there was a problem with a strip of metal in the SAME DC-10. anyway it took off, leaving the strip on the runway... concorde taxied to the foot of the runway and started to rumble down it. the strip anyhow burst a tyre on the left side of the plane. a chunk of fire flew back into the engine - making the fuel come out. hen it did that it went through a wire.

It was a piece of a DC-10. But Boeing may well have serviced it and fitted it with the faulty part as McDonnell Douglas (Who made the DC-10) were bought by Boeing some years ago. But I cant confirm who actually fitted the part.

The Concorde has an exceptional crash record. There was only 1 Concorde crash, and it happened not because of Concorde but because of a BOEING. And no, it went out of service because airports didn't wish to service it because of high maintenance costs and the amount of noise its engines produced.

No it wasnt. It was a 10 inch strip of titanium from a DC-10 that had previously taken off.

The Concorde can be purchased from SSTSIM and then transferred to FSX, although some features will not function. I would suggest waiting for SSTSIM to finish remaking theirs that's FSX compatible.

Well actually, there's like a Concorde Group where the members get to fly on it about once a year. It's still in the works as to when, but the Group exists.

You have no idea how hard it is to fly this bird in fs, LOL!It is impossible to continually fly it w/o any experience with fuel transfer. So trickery was used for every part of this video. =)

i want a concorde, but don't we all, don't most people want to go faster than the speed fo sound, make that over twice the speed of sound, i was a wonderful plane, thought it was expensive, i'm sure many people wouldn't mind waiting for a concorde in there local airport. i know i wouldn't mind. know that the concorde would be under their name.

I'm pretty sure that the reason for the stop of the service was not only the fact that the prices were high, because many people were willing to pay money("I don't know any other way that i could be in London at 10 o'clock and in New York at Ten o'clock, other than the Concorde). I think it was also the Big Bang and the disruption that it caused. A whole protest was started as an opposition, what horrible people!! Thanks for the comment!
