@1989eureka I would hardly call it a band. The "so called" band leader is one of David Foster's guys, (in one video in Vegas, the guy is picking up sheet-music David dropped). If I remember correctly, the "band" consisted of a piano, drums, and one violin. But, as stated by soooo many others, Charice's amazing talent shown through. As far as "What happened to the band?" goes, I doubt very much that you will ever see them on "America's Got Tallent" !!!!!

@trex7184 That is ALWAYS the case! I've seen clips on YT and it is ALWAYS the band that sucks and she is the one who has to save them! She really doesn't need a band behind her. If she does, get one that knows how to play!

Charice sings any song and takes the to a higher level of musicality. She's so great a singer, an all around singer/entertainer.

In deed, this is the clearest video of the event. I've re-played all the videos on Chrice so many number of times, including those take in the Big-E, and i quickly realized that is very clear video is one i've never seen.

@1manofpeace ;  Thanks for the nice comment. I too, watch her videos over and over. On her 1st appearance on Oprah, Oprah stated Charice had over 13,000,000 hits on YouTube. I can only imagine how many hits she has now.

They did rehearse. I got there 3 hrs early and heard them. I know of no other singer that can take a total disaster (that band), and turn it into a super show. Missy, you could not have been more correct. Charice is truly a PROFESSIONAL, but she is humble and down to earth as well. A combination not found anymore. That is why so many people love her.

Gosh!! Hated the band BIG TIME!! Charice still nailed the song despite the bad background. She would've been better off singing in acapella. They were also way too fast in the "No One" song that they barely gave her the chance to breathe when she sang the high notes!! Kudos to Charice! She kept her chin up and never got startled nor paniced on stage.

What camera did you use? I can't believe they stopped you from taping and we could do whatever we wanted at MSG Wamu theater.

Band screwed up BIG time!!! I felt sorry for her cause she had to adjust to THEM when it should be opposite! It's not the first time that "her" band screwed up though.

She was perfect though!! You got so lucky, i would love to see her someday :(

Lucky - and cursed. I arrived early to get a good vantage point to shoot video, but they seated the group that was waiting for the gate to open row by row. I thought I was so lucky to get a front row seat, but realized I was cursed because a security guard was stationed right in front of me. He caught me taping twice and told me there would NOT be a 3rd warning. But, oh my, to watch her perform that close? She truly is phenominal :-)

Charice in her young age has already shown her professionalism in handling the challenges she had with the band in the start of her performance, other artists will probably stop and ask the band to start again....not Charice, she doesn't need a restart, a pro indeed.

She is working with David Foster on her own CD. I heard an interview w/him saying it will have a lot of NEW songs, all in fitting with Charice's talent. It was due out this fall, but perfection takes time. It is now due out in Jan, I believe. Cut her some slack. A year and a half ago she was nobody. Wait and see. To get a seat at a future concert, like the one I had at this one, will cost in the hundreds. She'll get that famous.

I had a front row seat, so naturally I got caught recording. I did get the 1st 2 songs. She had some trouble with the band in the 1st song, but the 2nd, (no one) is much better. This is my 1st upload, I hope you like it.

Sorry. Like I said, I got caught recording and risked losing what I had if caught again. This is all I got. I had been planning this for so long, I just couldn't move back to film more and give up the front row seat. I'm just selfish, I guess.

It's a free concert organized by the BIG-E and hosted by the TV giant COMCAST. Of course they want no video recording as they can then broadcast the show exclusively in their network for good advertisement money later on.
