@afromanparker No, I just find it to be a very common mistake in almost every render of a gun reload, be it from independent animators like this or games from large studios.

@PwndYooSucka I am aware that the slide will lock back at the last shot, but notice how sometimes the slide is forward, and when he reloads it will lock back without being fired. What I am trying to say is that the slide doesn't have to be back in order to reload - a change in magazines with a bullet in the chamber would suffice.

its an impossible reload because the locking the chambers together would in fact break the relaoader mechanism that chambers the round

@elegancewasmurdered No it wouldn't. The chamber of a firearm is undoubtedly the strongest part of the firearm, as it undergoes the most stress.

Besides, the points of contact are on the rear of the ejection port, which is still made of steel, as is the slide. This method of releasing the slide isn't probably good for the long term, but definitely not for your reasons.

@SirJarred he isnt functioning a slide release, but rather functioning his slides using the ejection ports, Have you ever pulled the slide back on a 1911 then loaded a magazine with a round in it? Given, i know these are not 1911's but rather GLOCKs, you can still pull back on the slide and it will disengage the slide release

@toasty303 the slide release is like an open button. you can either press the button, or you can pull the guns slide back when there's a new magazine with a bullet in it (or when there's no mag in it), and it'll chamber it the exact same way. This way is just more badass, and instead of using his hand to rack it, he uses the gun. I get what you're saying, but all this does is make you look like a badass. Exact same method as racking the slide and slide release. just add gun.
