PMC 08 Pro fader bug

Your a tard man, I have this mixer it has infinity cut (to 100%bleed) you can adjust it to where it cuts in just by blowing on it, or have it bleed 100% thru, hence infinity cut!!!! I ave this mixer and its by FAR THE BEST FADER ive ever messed with, (besides the innofader pro with innojuster but thats an upgraded fader) that came STOCK in a mixer.

ave just had to buy a new fader for my -08 the factory one started to seize up an no amount of lube seemed to sort it out! now my new one has got the longest lag ever its like 7-8mm instead of 1 or 1.5mm wtever the original is! so now my crabs sound like a 3 year olds doin em... anyone know how to mannualy adjust the lag on the fader itself before i throw it out of the window!

BTW try fuckin with those little grub screws on the front i sometimes knock em when am moving around!

the best things is to buy a innofader it works on the 08 , it is a great fader many settings ,it is really incredible !!Peace

i recently got an 08 and it does this exact same thing. mine also licks and crackles. bit poo really for a mixer that cost £450

its not a bug, same thing happened to mine. a new pro x fade sorted it out!

how did you get the pro-x in this mixer.... i tried it an the whole thing went mad!!!! started acting like a cross between a kill switch and a volume level freaking weirded me out!!!

I never had a problem....maybe you should try messing around with the cross fader curve more and ALWAYS use groove glide for your faders, it keeps them working like new forever.

Mine makes digital noise, or feedback and the line faders make static noise. I'm sending mine in for repair tomorrow hopefully. The mixer is really dope, and the color is nice and shiny white(mine is the white/orange one). The rane might be cheaper in price and have the magnetic fader but it can't cut like this baby. The cut lag adjuster is golden and the rane has an ugly color scheme. My homeboy asked if I bought any new gear, I showed him my pmc-08 and he was like "Oooo...COLOR!". haha. 1

Well, if we remove the bugs, I think it is a very good mixer! The sound is very nice, the effects and EQ possibilities are very cool, and I kinda like it... But, I hope no more bugs will appear...

same here, guys.... bought mine in '99.

ONLY thing I've had to replace has been the CF. Have gone through 3 or 4 total.

Am about to buy an '08 PRO... god they look awesome... digital goodness!

My 05 has been working like a pro for 9 years. Im borrowing the 07 Pro D model right now. My only complaint is that I dont like the channel faders. Not as smooth as I would like for mixing. The crossfader is butter! My next mixer will be the Rane TTM-56.

yeea i sent mine in to repair that shit thing with mine is that it was already bleeding after 2 months the sound of static was coming out of it i was pist off im still waiting on vestax to fix it ..crazy how mine did the same thing after a couple months... hope they fix the problem cause this is one bad ass mixer

what i dont understand is how your scratch normal yet the the crossfader reverse indicator light is on just something i noticed, if you care to explain???

You have pgm rev switch, and matrix assign, you can change the inputs with switches, or on the mixer directly changing the left or right cable!

change your xfader and get the pro x fade.

You have the lag switch adjusted incorrectly,its not a bug in the mixer,just a bug in your comprehension of the manual,it happens.

You are so wrong! There was something wrong with power supply, and fader had some mechanical defect!
