@astroblitz1 They didn't mess up in their old metalcore days because their songs were easier to play. It was in their City of Evil days that messing up started becoming a problem. The songs they play for Nightmare are a lot easier, but their guitar duos still mess up 'til this day really.

A7x doesn't do any pigsqueals. These are pure screams, mostly highs. And he does 1 death growl.
BMTH screams too (Count Your Blessings), but their screams are particularly high pitched. In Suicide Season, they YELL a lot, which what you're probably thinking.
Pig squeals like pinched harmonics in screams. Search up "Eradication" by All Shall Perish. They do 2 amazing pig squeals in that song. That will help you distinguish between them all.

Cool at 2:19 is where youj can spot the difference from the demo and final version. In the final he says " Leaves at my feet pulled to the ground, their echoes are reaching my ears" here he says something else. and also the beginnig wasnt fuly screamed out. I love this band.
The first clear video of Matts first type of screams. He sounds high pitched from the video and also hes cupping the mic to get an effect. If he didnt cup it it would sound deeper and like the first album. remeber this was from album two which the screams were more growly. I didn't notice it because I was listening to it like I listen to the album version. I just noticed it because I was listening to Lips of Deceit in showcase theatre where he goes at some "As Blood Runs Black" speed, then this hit me. Fucking shit, Rev. He was humble not to do that on the album.

Great song. but its funny watching old live a7x and new. in the old they all messed up. which is fine. but them live now they are almost perfect. such a transition. i love them. best band ever. And i hate when people say they suck now or sucked then. Its basically two sides of them. Older was heavier, which i prefer, and the newer is simply softer. It just makes them versatile. is that not what artists are supposed to be? versatile? i think so. I love the new stuff too. Depends o-n my mood! :D

@astroblitz1 They didn't mess up in their old metalcore days because their songs were easier to play. It was in their City of Evil days that messing up started becoming a problem. The songs they play for Nightmare are a lot easier, but their guitar duos still mess up 'til this day really.

I just seen them live in Charlotte, NC on Sept 1st and he fucked up the lyrics from several new songs. I love a7x they are my favorite band.. But does shadows fuck up the lyrics to every song he sings live? Because he isn't singing this song right at all. lol

A7x doesn't do any pigsqueals. These are pure screams, mostly highs. And he does 1 death growl.
BMTH screams too (Count Your Blessings), but their screams are particularly high pitched. In Suicide Season, they YELL a lot, which what you're probably thinking.
Pig squeals like pinched harmonics in screams. Search up "Eradication" by All Shall Perish. They do 2 amazing pig squeals in that song. That will help you distinguish between them all.

Cool at 2:19 is where youj can spot the difference from the demo and final version. In the final he says " Leaves at my feet pulled to the ground, their echoes are reaching my ears" here he says something else. and also the beginnig wasnt fuly screamed out. I love this band.

The first clear video of Matts first type of screams. He sounds high pitched from the video and also hes cupping the mic to get an effect. If he didnt cup it it would sound deeper and like the first album. remeber this was from album two which the screams were more growly. This is also the deom and at this time Matt was testing different styles of scream.
