To be fair, they've come a long way. NOW, when I plug in a device for the first time, WIndows searches for drivers for 10 minutes, fails, then asks me if I want to search for a solution as to WHY it failed. Then after 2 minutes, it also finds nothing.

As a software developer (and maybe engineers too?) my heart sinks for them when stuff like this happens. Demo'ing incomplete software is nerve-racking. Gotta demo something on Thursday. Gulp.

It only showed the bsod because it couldn't recognize the device. It happened to my Toshiba 4010CDT when I tried to connect a flash drive to it. Am I right? Is it because it couldn't recognize the device? Did it happen to any of you guys with different devices?

@Yepi69, enjoy your time rebooting your computer every day because it's getting all slow and having problems with virus, plus beign forced to reinstaling/formating it after a few months. because you ain't good enough to use linux.
