2009 April 30 - Radioactive Dye Injection

I have to get a bone scan on this Friday and i hate needles ! I hurt my foot on halloween and they dont know whats wrong and so i have to have one. Im a super clausterphobic and hate tight spaces. How long does it take ? They sdaid they would take 1 picture then 2 hrs later they take another on ! Im scared im gonna find out something bad and like have to have surgery or something ! What do you think i should do ?

Did you just get the dye injected from a shot? I have to get mine via IV! :|

im getting 1 in 3 days and im soo scared

im scared also they might find brain cancer.. ive been having this pain in the side of my head .. dr said if i had it ppl who find out usely have a year to live and do more tests on it sooo scared ..

No, it didn't hurt at all...just the usual needle prick and that's it. Wow... that's a little terrifying, I'm surprised your dr was so blunt. Try not to worry until you get your tests back (I know it's hard not too!). Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

@jonnywoodsfansite so what are the results? i am a little scared now because i have a little bump in the back of my head that i can feel and i get wierd pains around that area. should i get it cheaked out? i also have a history of brain tumors in my family.
