there is a hobby shop close to where i live and they got a few HPI car but they dont say DRIFT cars they are just HPI rc car with 4WD. can does car drift by just puting some drift tires, or will there be another modifications that i would have to do to make it drive? please help me.

@supersanchez1991 If you are looking at HPI E10. All E10s can drift. I bought my E10 in the touring model. HPI includes parts and instructions how to convert back & forth from touring/drift models. But it will not drift without drift tires.

Your track is all wrong, you're still learning, you should make a figure 8, or something that turns to the left, AND right. If you don't, you'll feel the pain later. Because you'll screw up drifts to the other side, since you're only drifting to the left right now. And to practice linking the drifts, not much of a point when you just drift around one corner, then brake awkwardly to snap out, then do it over and over for every turn, now is there?

The HPI e10 drift cars like these comes with a 27T saturn 540 motor and top speed is 25mph.. im still tryin to figure out what motor would be faster in mines.. i got the exact same thing.. i want like an above 50mph but ive been hearing oh.. i would need a new receiver.. or something i dont know all these stuff.. im a hella beginner at rc.. i would love some help for upgrading my rc

okay well you can upgrade the motor and esc, no need to upgrade the receiver i suggest you get brushless with lipos however they are expensive but for a decent speed get a 17T motor (19T for drifting) and upgrade you esc to something like a novak

E10 is cheaper and easier to maintain because the sprint 2 is belt driven and if you don't clean them, there not that fun to change.

if ur willing to pay for the sprint 2 flux then you should have all the money for belts you will shred. the e10 isnt as fast, powerful, or fun, but at least it is shaft driven
