  • If it's dry just take an extra lap to get the tyres warm, no rush on a track day. When you're racing you only get a 5 or 6 lap race so you've no option other than to go for it straight away :-)

Another tip is to run you're tyres at their road PSi, more pressure = warmer tyre. On the track in warmer weather you tend to run lower PSi than road.

  • Wanted to ask you, how is different riding in track day with low weather temperature? how sticky tyres are if warmed up well ? thanks

  • Nice! I have an '88 Hawk. Great little bike. Which tires do you prefer on it? I had the Sportec M3's and now Pilot Powers. Honestly, I liked the M3's more. These pilot powers wont allow you to lean it over as far as I like. Love cornering this little thing. :D Again, Nice job and bet you had a blast on the track!

  • bit too quick on the changes for me too. But nice bike. :)

  • Good music but you flip thru clips to fast for my likeing.

  • Nice work man,

What's the name of the music please?

  • DJ Tiesto, Urban Train. It's a radio edit with a nice vocal added.

  • Bros` and Hawks are awesome little bikes. I have a 650 GT Hawk myself and I love it. great vid.

  • Cheers, it did hold it's own quite well. The day inspired me to have a pop at racing bikes. I do miss the bros, for a 1989 bike it was way way ahead of it's time.

  • Awesome video. Looks like you are really rolling with the bigsters on the bros. Nice bike.

  • Filmed before they ruined Gerards!
