This was one of the supreme highlights of my Chicago show, and definitely one of my favorite moments of the entire tour.
This video, though, is special. Being one of my favorite songs (The Last Domino), this was the first video of it I found on youtube from the 2007 Tour. So having seen it was definitely memorable, and having it still up is terrific.
When Phil's face comes up on the screen, chills go down my spine, especially when I actually SAW it. What a cool effect!
mondo i was at the philly show also, the first night on the "turn it on again" tour, domino was definitely the highlight. Invisible Touch was good too. I also enjoyed the tambourine thing that Phil Collins did. The last good part was the drum duo.
"domino" is a long song. this video starts just after the first part "in the glow of the night" finishes. after phil sings the first part, he goes back stage and sets up for the part where his face is in the middle of the screen.
during the "we can't dance" tour, phil is actually lifted up in the air behind the stage and in front of the screen during this part. there is video of this on youtube.
Thanks, I know all of this including the "We Can't Dance" tour part, I have it in VHS and DVD... I was wondering where he was during the first verses of this video. I understand from your reply that he was just backstage and not somewhere in the air like in the previous tour.
oh man I can't wait. I have tickets to the 2nd last show of the entire tour at Hollywood Bowl! Will be good, Collins still sounds amazing he is a god.
Jaa, ik weet het, daar heb ik ook het concert van the who vandaan gehaald.. Was je ook bij the Rolling stones in goffert park? IK OOK! jaaa, mick jagger zag je niet uit z'n dak gaan met een tambourijn hahaha...
that's right.........

Mike better be careful. He'll throw his back out rocking out like that.

Saw them in Sacramento 10/10 and was totally pleased with the show. Domino rocked and was a surprising highlight. PC was born to be a front man.

Why are the ticket prices so high? I remember paying $10 in 1981. Even factoring in inflation, there's no reason to charge what they charge.

Um, have you seen the size of the production?

you are living in the past.

When aspects of the past are way better than what the present has to offer, I can't see any problem with having fond memories.
And music is the most powerful example of the past being better by a country mile than anything done nowadays.

@3point14rat i never said there was a problem with that

Sorry.
I see lots of posts slamming 80's videos and their fans. I assumed that your comment was in the same vein.
No hard feelings, eh?
