I think this on the Moldovan side, am I right ? Ungheni was the most thorough customs check I have ever gone through at any border. They searched everything.
@jonnyf1970 No, this is the Romanian side. There are two Unghenis, one in Moldova (called simply Ungheni), and one in Romania (called Ungheni-Prut, but simple Ungheni is also used for this village too). Customs check wasn't bad at this time, they just asked if we have anithyng to declare, and when we answered "No", they left. They don't even looked at our lugages, as those were under the bed.
