Should have never been aloud to build much further west than the school. The east end does well but money talks and people can't walk or ride to the beach and see the sunset instead want it out their own back door and this is the price we ALL paid. Even those of us who had property in the pleasant East End. My island was not wrecked. OUR island was destroyed in the national news.

You know, the West end always floods like that, but the fact that this was the day before should have been an omen that things were going to get really really bad. I was stationed at the Coast Guard station there.

WOW! I just stumbled across this! I was there boarding the family houses and would love to know if you have any more video----we are just a little more east of the end of the tape! Wow, the house @ 02:27 is my mom's bosses house. That is them in the silver Nissan Armada stopped in front of it. After the hurricane there was only 3 pile-ons left where the house was...total loss...Very sad...lots of memories there.

Next Major Hurricane, 2008 probability 30%, 2009 probability 90%. The Alabama government is beating and torturing and robbing former federal bank examiners turned informant. see saintrambone videos, Mobile Audit Club has proof of injections. Fed destroyed videos in 2001. see that Oil sold for those gas rights, passing by the Island
