@icehockeywarehouse After the blade on my wood stick finally split, I've been looking for an entry level composite stick for street hockey, how would the fiberglass blades on sticks like this the x 15 and the reebok 4k sidekick hold up on a rough surface if I taped them up to try to reduce how much its scraping on the ground?
@papasmurf413 They would break down really fast even with tape on them. I would recommend checking out the Reebok 3K and the Alkali CA3 sticks. Both have an ABS blade, good for outdoor use.
@akumboo It has a standard smooth coating and a traditional feel with double concave shaft dimensions. The 87 flex might be a bit stiff for a 15 year old, but it depends on your weight. This stick is 60".
@icehockeywarehouse OH and i've been using those lowkick sticks and i make a lot of slapshots so my question is can i easilly add more power to my slapshot using mid-kick? i also break blades sometimes so i want a a stick with good durability would this be good?
i have one more question. what materials can u use to shoot pucks on. i mean no duh ice but what else. i heard plexiglass but when i look its another name. it starts with a p though.. i just want something cheap and u can find at ur local Lowes or Home Depot. just so i can shoot pucks on my driveway. thx.
@videogamefreaks101 Not sure of the exact material. We sell a shooting pad at our store called the SkillPad. You might want to take a puck to Home Depot and see what material slides best.
I am thinking about getting this stick. I debating about the curve. malkin or kane. i will be a defense man probley. and a little RW. is the malkin a good stick to use for wrist shots? i know good for slappers. plz respond soon. thx
@paintinator104 You should get a Senior model stick. You will have to cut the stick, increasing the flex. Which flex to get is all personal preference. I would try an 85 or 87 flex to start. If you're skinny and/or not that strong get a 75 or 77 flex to start.
@VideozOurWay Unfortunately there isn't anything that price from us. The lowest priced shaft we have is $65. The nice thing is that the shaft usually won't break and you simply need to replace the blade, which is usually around $20 or so.
@VideozOurWay I really would recommend against using this on the street. The composite blades just wear out too quickly. You should try a shaft and blade combo.
@SuperLeafsfan7 biggest difference is the flex profile. The supreme is an amplified mid, and the vapors have intelli-sense but are more of a low kick stick.
