No, they don't got 40 hp. An engine like this puts out 24,1 hp and have a rev limiter set to 14400 RPM. The only difference between the KF3 to KF1 engines is the rev limit, being 15400 on the KF2:s and 16400 on the KF1:s.
What is the quality of drivers like in KF3? are they more aggressive or cleaner?, also when would the time be right to move into KF racing? would you at least have to get seeded in stars or super 1 to stand at least a good chance of doing any good? or running at the front?
The normal time difference of a KF3 to a Junior Rotax on a good track is about 2 seconds, for example at PFI KF3 do about 45.7 and Juniors do 47.2. And that was on a mildly good track. Why KF3's are so fast is mostly down to their tyres. The compounds are much softer than the Vega SL8, as they use Bridgestone. KF3= Junior Rotax KF2= ICA KF1= Formula A

i know they are faster than Rotax junior but from the pictures iv seen its a pretty big and really ugly engine compared to the Rotax and Jicas which are like works of art :-)

he isnt big enough for the kart yet either, he should definetly stay in minimax, the restricted rotax jr motor because you can see him leaning way out of his seat away from the apex. he isnt big enough to handle the kart yet.
Actually that's a technique to lean on the seat like that, it helps put more grip and also helps to lift the inside rear tire to maximize cornering speed.
