that's not really asia eyes. because by asia eyes it's really hard to paint with eyeshadow..... just look at tina from GLEE (the tv show GLEE) this asia girl wear eye shadow but i doesen't looks really good. (sorry about my english just look at those to persons: you'r and the one from GLEE)

Just because you are asian doesn't mean that you will most likely be monolid. Asian people has lids but they're much smaller compared to other ethnicity. I'm not trying to discriminate but I believe monolid are more common among the korean nationality.

thanks for this video, it's hard for me to find makeup tips for natural asian double eyelids without the tape tricks, etc. I think it's a good smoke eye look. Many Asians, and if I'm not mistaken, especially Filipino have the double eyelids.

Many asians have natural double eyelids, but when you say this is going to be an asian eye tutorial people assume the model will have the monolid type eyeshape that asians are known for. This tutorial might as well not have the word "asian" in it because the double eyelid shape of this model is commonly found in other non-asian ethnic groups.

@LordSuperCow the model is pretty fair skin. there are other asians that are darker. like the ppl from the lower side of the Asia. The closer to the equator, the darker our skin will be.

The model has hooded eyes, another trait of the usual Asian eye. Putting charcoal eyeshadow all over the lid will not make her eyes look bigger, it looks overdone and shrinks the eye. Putting a medium-dark shadow where the fold of fat is over the eye, will work better. I wish there were better tips for Asian eye makeup.

@binghuaanime13 I totally agree about using a model with smaller eyes. This makeup artist did make the smokey eye work out on this model due to her hooded lids. It is going to take some practice.
