Then the deer would increase again and eat the plants, then they would starve again and the plants would return. Well... viruses have to infiltrate living cells to reproduce and they don't reproduce sexually. There's some question as to whether they're even alive, or if they're just one of the weird things that organic molecules sometimes do. I ran a search on "most destructive mammals" and came up with 1) small Indian mongooses, 2) feral pigs and 3) grey squirrels. They trash their environments, wipe out other species and spread disease. They're all in the top 10. We should be, too.

I have an answer for Agent Smith. We multiple and do not live in harmony because we dominate. We're, effectively, superior. That's why we consume everything like ti's a foodstuff.
