why dont you use a glass bottle with the bottom broken out? its called a spottle. plastic bottles work but trust me make a glass spottle.. get a standard sized like clear beer bottle and fill it with 1 cm high boiling water then but about 3 small pebbles in it and swirl them around the bottom of the bottle in a circular motion for about 3 minutes then but the bottle on a hot element and wait for the crack.. immediately remove the bottle and the bottom of the bottle should just fall off..
