halo 3 is way better than reach ever was. Reach didn't have as much DLC because it thought forge was good enough. Bungie failed when making Reach. The campain sucks, the multiplayer sucks.

Halo 1 was Legendary. Halo 2 was awesome. Halo 3 was OK. Halo Reach was bad and you had to shoot at people 4000 times more than you had to in other games. And it looks like they're keeping that same engine for Anniversaries and the new trilogy.

@zeratul1356 actually that really happened in the book Ghosts of Onyx. 500 Spartan 3's took on supercarriers on the ground but they all got glassed. But, yes those "spec ops" missions happened while an entire army of covenant, the fleet of particular justice, attacked the UNSC while you did those missions.
Halo 3 was so much better than Reach, Dont get me wrong Halo: Reach beats most FPS games out there but compared to all the other games in the Halo series Reach was garbage.
Halo 3 for me has been the best FPS I have ever played in my entire life and I think it is gonna stay that unless Halo 4 can surpass Halo 3.

@ChronicBlaze93 I totally agree with you, like not just the gameplay but the music and impeccably deep story line it is amazing. Even finding all the skulls with my friends and trying to complete all the achievements gave me months upon months of fun. No game has even come close to beating the fun i had with it. To me reach just tried to fit in with the other shooter too much and it really let me down. My best gaming moments were definitely spent on halo 3

I mean, if he could lift that, then why is it that when he punches another Ninja, he's sent, lets say, 10-12 feet away? Geez. It was a very good campaign.People just hyped it up too much.The thing is, the story wasnt about full scale warzone battles, if you wanted that then play Halo Reach.Halo 3 was more about stopping truth from firing the ark.The scale was big at certain parts, liek the level "the Storm" and the intro to "The Ark"
