@halabinono The axis i think are faster , look at the axis a21 laser pedals, the footboard is huge about five inches at the base, the only problem might b the price
@WhatGoesWhere so what if his feet are weird lol , trolls like you should just shut up dude , try to help this guy dont tell him that he shouldnt play drums wtf
@WhatGoesWhere Aslong as he is comfortable, stays in time and can maintain speed that way it's fine. You obviously are jealous that he has found a technique comfortable for him, where as your legs are to skimpy to even play 16ths.
i mean youve sure got the energy and speed, just work on accuracy but other than that keep rockin man! dont lsitin to these dudes, ull get bettter iam sure!
his timing is so ridiculously off, im 15 and i finally let myself start blast beating after 6 years of teaching myself drums on single pedal, this shows no skill, besides you can twitch your wrist fast, and buy mediocre drum sets with amazing petals
Continued: I had a DW Red Velvet kit, Full DW rack, Axis AL-2's Classic Black, 16-17-18-19" Zildjian Z Custom Rock Crashes, 22" Z Custom Rock Ride, 14" Z Custom Rock hi hats,
Zil Bell, 8 and 10 inch splashes and a Sabian 19" AAX China.
All heads were Evans, With an Aquarian Front Bass Head Baffled, and Evans EMAD Bass Head.
Working at Best Buy has its perks, i got almost 80% off all my ish and sold it for twice of what i bought it for.
Wow! if you watch his master pedal, you'll notice his toe gets so far up on his pedal thats its almost touching the skin. How is that possible might you ask? well it looks to me like he slides his foot sideways off the pedal, which makes very little sense to me. But hey what ever works for him, besides, hes got some damn good speed, to bad hes pretty sloppy
@NateDaDrummzer the reason he does this is because since he is playing with shoes and playing semi heel down hes using the wieght of his legs to push the pedals forwards
the black has its parts anodized which is a method of making a metal piece more likely to "accept" painting (sorry i am not that rich on words) otherwise there is no difference. i find the classic black rather BRUTAL :P :D
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
why spend so much money on pedals for heel-toeing, if u can't heel-toe? you should of went with some nice iron cobras like me, or dw5000/dw9000, pearl eliminators, duallist 3-beater...ect. there are so many amazing pedals out there for a way better price...you know what I mean?
@drummerNOVA well i think that the longboards they are not only for heel toe..im playing with heel toe and i can play double bAss in 270bpm, but i agree that the cobra and eluminator are very good pedals(sry for my english)
its a matter of opinion and taste but I personally find that axis pedals blow Iron Cobras to shame. I used to use Iron Cobras but after my friend lent me some axis pedals I just had to get some of my own. I dont really use heel toe technique but even when using conventional heel up or down; I find they are so smooth and less stiff than chain pedals due to the ball action. But if you find Iron Cobras better I respect that but for me axis pedals are just in a different league to any other pedal
Fuckin' mad drumming skills. I really like your blast beats.
I'm about to purchase new double kicks and I'm not sure if I should get the Axis longboards or the Peal DemonDrive. Your Axis pedals seem great but I hear feedback from drum stores that they stopped selling Axis because of reliability/durability problems, How do you find your Axis pedals in terms of strength/durability?
nice feety but the downfall of drummers is that they only practice feet but theyre hands, the most important part of drummin is not practicing and in which sucks and then throws off the fett you cant have amasing feet with sloppy hands
u shud use pedals since u like the beater 1 inch away and if its such a longboard why is ur right foot nearly coming off the pedals or is that the way you feel comfortable with?
@IronCobraKid I know, man (even if this speed is not extreme at all, so there's no need to tap). IMHO, I don't like tapping and fast speed with huge use of triggers.
@sketchbager tapping is playing with low dynamics, weak strokes.... so you put triggers to high sensitivity and you got all the powerful, fast double bass you want, while you're playing SO weakly.
He has to do what he feels most comfortable with, he may be triggering his BD when playing for real, and will not need that much power - we don't know.
actually if you're making full strokes, you'll get more power toward the front of the footboard, due to better leverage. however it is easier to build speed further back on the pedal
It's obvious you have talent, only thing I would recommend is to practice making the beater pull all the way back all the time. I noticed when you get a bit tired your hits gets softer and which then makes the bass drum hard to hear. Other than that, awesome job.
actually, some cheaper pedals have plastic boards, and yer, pros use axis cause they are probably the most smooth and efficient double pedals apart from the pearl demon eliminator drive... so yer... talkin bout misfitfiend420 and jamesdizzle420.. but i doubt u'd see many pros with half plastic pedal, either way ur sorta right in 2 different ways...
@PathOfAnnihilation I agree. The pedal setup is seriously fucked up. So much flamming and double tapping too!!! His beaters are too high and the pedal setup really isn't conducive to accurate play.
don't like the drum setup, try getting a floor tom. also, don't see you making use of the fact that they are LONGBOARDS. the reason that they don't have the plate at the bottom is so you can use the heels up, heel toe or flat foot technique with ease. you could have bought a pearl eliminator which is the best double pedal out there. don't have one myself just before you start to think im jealous. i'd kill for either of those double pedals
me to and i feel the same way thats why i bought them after haveing my irn cobras for 5 years and i new i had experience to move up to pedals like that after learning curtain tecqunikes not just a constant double roll i learned how to do that on my firts shitty pedal not on axis....im saying hes not useing them to there full potential and shpould have worked his way up by using those hes like taking steps back because of how smooth and unresistant they are
yes how ever the HECK he wants but this is the sloppiest playing ive ever seen and he has the most pro pedals he could do the things hes doing with 100 dollar double bass pedas so ya he can spend it how ever he wants but he will never build muscle and be able to do things on those pedals all he can do is a constanrt double roll and he wont have the control because clearly he hasnt been drumming that long why buy the best pedal instead of work ur way up to it an earn them!!!!!
jealous sorry bud ive had the al2 longboards for about one year now and i love them and my tama starclassic bubinga does the trick over his little pearl export hahaha jealous.....but his shoes are pretty cool hahahahaa
how does haveing an expensive pedal going to keep you from building up muscle. its all the same. like Dalleh20 said you really do sound jealous of this guy you probably are jealous cause you werent smart enough tobuy the axis pedal in the first place you wasted your money on the cheap pedals and are trying to make yourself feel better bytrying to say that by having the expensive pedals first its holding you back and that having the shity pedals first makes you better when it doesnt matter at al
first i never said haveing an expensive pedal keeps u from building muscle i said since there such a smooth and unrestrictive pedal they keep u from building muscle and second i got my iron cobras when i was 14 i dont think i would care that he bought some axis pedals because ive had mine for about a year when i upgraded so i dont think that counts as not smart enough i didnt even know what axis were and didnt care so what u said is just redunsant and u should learn how to interpret what u read!
ddue who gives a shit about building muscle. its about the sound. u dont have to be a big buff guy to be a drummer. u just need to know how to play. i really think u r jealous. i mean c'mon bro im 13 and i got a job just to buy this pedal. i think u just need to live with the fact that hes got the pedal
dont reply to comments unless u read them all i have the al2 longboards and a fucking tama starclassic i am not jealous of shit......and ur right u dont need to be buff to play drums hahaha thats not what i meant atol and were did u get a job at 13 .....god you are so retarded u just commented to ONE comment i wrote from a series of like 14
a u should have ssaved more money and got a nicer kit and some iron cobras because u dont have enough pedal skill to use those to there full potential or even close to it
Dude, why spend money on iron cobras and then later spend more on axis? Everyone isn't made of money. I think he made a wise decision and went ahead and got the best pedal. Another thing, there isn't a damn thing wrong with a Pearl Export set. It is a low end set, but once again, everyone isn't made of money. Anyway, you don't have to have a certain level of skill to play on axis pedals. Even if a drummer isn't that good and wants axis pedals, then they should buy tha damn things.
uhhh why do pros use axis if u dont need a certain level of playing why are they one of the most expensive pedal out there if there not ment for people who have a certain playing skill.....witch this guy doesnt have.....and why spend money on two different pedals???do u buy the nicest kit for ur first one???no same goes for pedals u have shity ones and learn more than a double roll like this guy can ONLY do and proves that...u build skill and move up unlike this guy....basicaly this guy sux!!
why can't you drop it if he wanna buy expneisv pedals let him do that his got dame money not yours you do what you do with your money and he do what he does with his money.
and just make it eve this video is made to show how the pedal looks and works not anything else
first of all by u responding u are the one who cant drop it. second of all i didnt understand half of what u said learn how to form sentances. and finally "this video was made to show how the pedals works" thats what u said and all ive been saying is that he is not good enough to show how the pedal works he has bought a pedal he cannot use to its full potential if u read my other comments i dont care that he spent money on a dope pedal he cant use the pedal for what its for and thats pro skill
technicaly he is using the pedal for what its for, stupid ass. and if someone only does a constant double bass roll, thats there own style. double bass can be used in anyway that a person wants to. and it does take alot of skill to keep a constant double bass going for that long, and this guy is really good at the style of drumming that he does
last i checked this video wasnt an extreme metal drumming video....therefore he isnt useing them for what there for,STUPID ASS HAHAHA, and wow man u have opened my eyes a constant double roll is the best drumming in the world this guy is better than george kollias he is so good..hahaha and oh ya this guy is very good at his style of drumming i think its considered exteme noob drumming trying to be metal by doing blast beats and double bass rolls atleast thats what i heard it was called!!
but double bass pedals are made for going faster, therefore anyone using a double bass pedal uses them to there potential. your an ignorant fuck head arent you. and if theres a style of drumming called extreme noob drumming, then the only one in it would be you.
dude is this guy ur girl friend or something why are u taking such offence to what i say or do u just think of me as jesus and u dwell on every word i say......and i have axis al2's...so im not bitching about what anyone one has again read the comments of the people ur responding to and u wouldnt be so redundant.and its not about speed thats not why people use double bass its for different beats...wow u must be an extreme noob also because if u think this guy is a good drummer ur a fucking idiot
Pros use axis pedals because of the fact that there reliable. it has nothing to do with skill. hell i bought an axis double bass pedal used for 100 bucks as my first double bass pedal. and the reason that the pedals cost so much, is the fact that there made of complete metal. so i dont know if youve noticed, but metal is strong, and more expensive. thats why axis pedals are so expensive. it has nothing to do with skill level, the material just costs more, and if you can afford it why not get it?
what the fuck are u talking aboout????? almost all pedals are complete metal...and pros dont use axis because there made from metal they use them because there the most smooth easy to use form to ur feet pedals.....meaning if u have the skill u will use them to there potential.....it has everything to do with skill level......i dont think u really know what ur talking about....and u should read the comments of the people ur responding to because what u said had zero relevence to what i was sayin
not all pedals are made of COMPLETE metal the reason that the cheaper pedals are cheaper is because there made with cheaper material, some of the parts being made of plastic to make the cost lower. and on the axis pedals NOTHING on them is made of plastic, its all completely made of metal, which makes them more expensive. and being made of metal makes it so the parts wont break, because metal is strong. therefore the pedals are highly reliable. so stop bitching about how someone has good pedals.
all you do is roll on the bass drum, nothing special. you're a good drummer but you havent taken advantage of the double bass. you're conformed like many other drummers with double basses. all you do is go fast. Tools drummer danny carrey is one of the best drummers out there because he doesnt try to fit as many beats as you can in one second. slow it down and mix it up. it doesnt need to be a constant roll.
sure it's fast, but it doesnt sound like it has a good groove or feel. I'm a drummer and honestly. all I hear is noise. I'm not dissing your skills or anything, but speed isn't everything..
if you have longboard pedals why the hell are you playing so close to the beater? the whole point of paying more for longboards is so that you have more space to use on the footboard.
not at all. longboard create a larger sweat spot on the pedal, so and so he has found the sweat spot on the pedals which he is comfortable with. Not every drummer is the same.
Well, you are pretty good, but you should go better at time. I guess you can easily hear it yourself too. I know that its not easy. But anyways you are awesome drummer! Keep Going!!!
Well, you're fast! But i suggest to you to work more on the sound and to go better on time, you sometimes go out, but nobody is a machine :) good work by the way! BRUTAL WAY OF LIFE (and drumming)!! XD

ddue who gives a shit about building muscle. its about the sound. u dont have to be a big buff guy to be a drummer. u just need to know how to play. i really think u r jealous. i mean c'mon bro im 13 and i got a job just to buy this pedal. i think u just need to live with the fact that hes got the pedal
Paintballnation584 2 years ago
dont reply to comments unless u read them all i have the al2 longboards and a fucking tama starclassic i am not jealous of shit......and ur right u dont need to be buff to play drums hahaha thats not what i meant atol and were did u get a job at 13 .....god you are so retarded u just commented to ONE comment i wrote from a series of like 14
jamesdizzle420 2 years ago
a u should have ssaved more money and got a nicer kit and some iron cobras because u dont have enough pedal skill to use those to there full potential or even close to it
jamesdizzle420 3 years ago
maybe he wants to spend his money on them...DUH
massive0random 3 years ago
Dude, why spend money on iron cobras and then later spend more on axis? Everyone isn't made of money. I think he made a wise decision and went ahead and got the best pedal. Another thing, there isn't a damn thing wrong with a Pearl Export set. It is a low end set, but once again, everyone isn't made of money. Anyway, you don't have to have a certain level of skill to play on axis pedals. Even if a drummer isn't that good and wants axis pedals, then they should buy tha damn things.
silasjones04 2 years ago
uhhh why do pros use axis if u dont need a certain level of playing why are they one of the most expensive pedal out there if there not ment for people who have a certain playing skill.....witch this guy doesnt have.....and why spend money on two different pedals???do u buy the nicest kit for ur first one???no same goes for pedals u have shity ones and learn more than a double roll like this guy can ONLY do and proves that...u build skill and move up unlike this guy....basicaly this guy sux!!
jamesdizzle420 2 years ago
why can't you drop it if he wanna buy expneisv pedals let him do that his got dame money not yours you do what you do with your money and he do what he does with his money.
and just make it eve this video is made to show how the pedal looks and works not anything else
bagera93 2 years ago
first of all by u responding u are the one who cant drop it. second of all i didnt understand half of what u said learn how to form sentances. and finally "this video was made to show how the pedals works" thats what u said and all ive been saying is that he is not good enough to show how the pedal works he has bought a pedal he cannot use to its full potential if u read my other comments i dont care that he spent money on a dope pedal he cant use the pedal for what its for and thats pro skill
jamesdizzle420 2 years ago
technicaly he is using the pedal for what its for, stupid ass. and if someone only does a constant double bass roll, thats there own style. double bass can be used in anyway that a person wants to. and it does take alot of skill to keep a constant double bass going for that long, and this guy is really good at the style of drumming that he does
misfitfiend55 2 years ago
last i checked this video wasnt an extreme metal drumming video....therefore he isnt useing them for what there for,STUPID ASS HAHAHA, and wow man u have opened my eyes a constant double roll is the best drumming in the world this guy is better than george kollias he is so good..hahaha and oh ya this guy is very good at his style of drumming i think its considered exteme noob drumming trying to be metal by doing blast beats and double bass rolls atleast thats what i heard it was called!!
jamesdizzle420 2 years ago
but double bass pedals are made for going faster, therefore anyone using a double bass pedal uses them to there potential. your an ignorant fuck head arent you. and if theres a style of drumming called extreme noob drumming, then the only one in it would be you.
misfitfiend55 2 years ago
dude is this guy ur girl friend or something why are u taking such offence to what i say or do u just think of me as jesus and u dwell on every word i say......and i have axis al2's...so im not bitching about what anyone one has again read the comments of the people ur responding to and u wouldnt be so redundant.and its not about speed thats not why people use double bass its for different beats...wow u must be an extreme noob also because if u think this guy is a good drummer ur a fucking idiot
jamesdizzle420 2 years ago
id like to see you do better
basssockpuppet872 2 years ago
as dave mustaine said if you have the best equipment the only thing limiting your playing is you
aShaw1319 2 years ago
Pros use axis pedals because of the fact that there reliable. it has nothing to do with skill. hell i bought an axis double bass pedal used for 100 bucks as my first double bass pedal. and the reason that the pedals cost so much, is the fact that there made of complete metal. so i dont know if youve noticed, but metal is strong, and more expensive. thats why axis pedals are so expensive. it has nothing to do with skill level, the material just costs more, and if you can afford it why not get it?
misfitfiend55 2 years ago
what the fuck are u talking aboout????? almost all pedals are complete metal...and pros dont use axis because there made from metal they use them because there the most smooth easy to use form to ur feet pedals.....meaning if u have the skill u will use them to there potential.....it has everything to do with skill level......i dont think u really know what ur talking about....and u should read the comments of the people ur responding to because what u said had zero relevence to what i was sayin
jamesdizzle420 2 years ago
not all pedals are made of COMPLETE metal the reason that the cheaper pedals are cheaper is because there made with cheaper material, some of the parts being made of plastic to make the cost lower. and on the axis pedals NOTHING on them is made of plastic, its all completely made of metal, which makes them more expensive. and being made of metal makes it so the parts wont break, because metal is strong. therefore the pedals are highly reliable. so stop bitching about how someone has good pedals.

sonor1993 3 years ago 2
i donbutt know what the fuck that was sorry man but try not to just make noise
megameeks01 3 years ago
all you do is roll on the bass drum, nothing special. you're a good drummer but you havent taken advantage of the double bass. you're conformed like many other drummers with double basses. all you do is go fast. Tools drummer danny carrey is one of the best drummers out there because he doesnt try to fit as many beats as you can in one second. slow it down and mix it up. it doesnt need to be a constant roll.

cooper123456789dude 3 years ago
sure it's fast, but it doesnt sound like it has a good groove or feel. I'm a drummer and honestly. all I hear is noise. I'm not dissing your skills or anything, but speed isn't everything..

its not groove drumming its death metal drumming

Man some people are close minded.
Metulz 3 years ago 5
if you have longboard pedals why the hell are you playing so close to the beater? the whole point of paying more for longboards is so that you have more space to use on the footboard.
HammerForgedBong 3 years ago
he doesnt know how to use em is my gess.
weinhimer06 3 years ago
its easier to go faster
Alisterbmx 3 years ago
not at all. longboard create a larger sweat spot on the pedal, so and so he has found the sweat spot on the pedals which he is comfortable with. Not every drummer is the same.
