the hidden plumbing line is not the modular homes fault. you are resonsible for anything be low the first floor box if your plumber put it there its his fault.
There is a major manufacturer of sectional homes in the Midwest that uses a number of names. This company has an unfavorable rating with the better business bureau, see the attached link. There are a number of horror stories posted to the web in relation to this company.
I purchased a new Dutch manufactured sectional home. I had plumbing leaks from a screw drilled into plumbing in the floor. The home was set on a plumbing line that was concealed by the heavy plastic vapor panel. The multiple leaks flooded the vapor panel that runs under the home. I had up to18 inches of water that destroyed everything in the floor and created lots of mold.
