1.first get green link and player two another color

2. close the first player link(green) and change player 2 to green

3. change the game to team battle and make player 1 play

4 change player 1 and 2 to green team then take out team battle

you now have two green links :)

Why is everyone so fucking stupid! It's not a team battle so therefore 2 Links cannot have the same color. If it WAS a fucking team battle, then one of the Link's costumes would either be a darker green, or lighter green! Get it through your fucking head people! I'm in this video I should know.

I don't think this is a glitch. I've had this happen to me. When fighting a random opponent, it picks the character and costume at random. So it is possible, though kind of uncommon to have two characters with the same costume. Much more common if you have 1 definite character and 1 random.

This happened to me once, have a snapshot of it. I had played a team match with C.Falcon and there where two Link's on the green team against me. Then when I turned team of, there were two Link's with the same color, just like this.

If you do a tournament (I did one with me and all computers as all of the other players) make all the players one character and make all of their costumes the same and change the settings so that there are 4 on each stage. 2 Marios (My character) had the same costume brightness (or similar costume brightness). Normally you could only have up to 3 people on a team but since it is a tournament, there doesn't have to be teams to have the same costume. This is definite.

3. Change it to Team Brawl, switch you and the CPUs back on (You first, then CPU1, then CPU2)

4. Change it back to normal Brawl

the makers of brawl didnt want the players to get confused about who they are playing as, so they made lighter or different colors, and in this case, link #4 (player #4) was glitched, and the different color costume thing didnt work out somehow

At first I couldn't tell what the glitch was. The I realized that it's the fact that there are two Links of the same color. Normally the game will force one to be a different color so you can tell them apart.
