I can't mention the name of the person, (I guess becuase most people don't want me to?) but she is the daughter of a very famous bellydancer, (bellydancing queen in the 70s) and her mother was also Didem's teaher throughout the show, before and during, (ibrahim provided for her)

Doesn't matter who she is, lots of people are famous for who only knows what reasons. Maybe she knows all the right people? There are an awful lot of belly dancers out there who are truly amazing and she just isn't one of them. I didn't say she was horrible, just not that good.

well, it's a matter of taste whether you like it or not. To be honest, I prefer dancers like Dina the Egyptian, or Dina from Lebanon, their movements r elegant, sexy but not cheap and you enjoy watching them!

And where's the bellydance? I think there are too many pirouettes and no really good bellydance steps. She's not good and she always wears only the saidi outfits. A real bellydancer would choose her outfit according to the style of the dance (and she never dances saidi, I doubt she can do it). However, this is no bellydance so it's difficult to say what she should wear.

I know it!! I'm not too impressed with her dancing myself. I like Amira Mor, though she has modern elements in her dancing, her passion for it's expression make her alot of fun to learn from. She's better than other instructors I have checked out who make it seem like some kind of slutty dance.
