I made a bunch of these a few years ago

one important tip to remember is the paint will melt the fome if you spray it to closely so give yourself at least 10 inches of space

Those of us that are truly into Halloween have been building props since june. You do not use spray paint on a styrofoam tombstone it dissolves the foam. Know the difference between commercialand store bought tombstones? Original tombstones will NEVER say RIP.

lots of spray paint contain apolar organic solvents, like acetone, which can easily dissolve or rather "melt" the styrofoam
