@Ignore14 a bass guitar has the first 4 strings of a regular guitar (E,A,D,G). One one thing that usually poses a challenge for guitarists switching to bass is how big the strings are and how much far apart the strings are.

Also the frets are WAY bigger. The 7th fret on a bass gutter is the same size as the first fret on a regular guitar!!
