incase the macbook i have has manufacture defects after i apply the palmgueard, and they need to replace that part of whole keyboard trackpad top piece, i would want to take it off and put on new part.

Nothing, that can't be cleaned off with a slight wipe with a cloth. In my experience, there was absolutely no residue, but I don't suggest repositioning it, once it has been applied.

Say if I apply this palmguard now and 1 year later I want to sell my MBP and decide to open it, will it leave any mark? or would it absolutely like new?

How difficult is it to install this nicely? Iam surprised everytime i see a pic of one of these it seems the person was able to line it up perfectly. Is there some secret, or is just really easy, or is it actually hard and its just that everyone seems to be good at it??

I don't understand how this is useful. Is this palm rest anymore resilient to oil, dirt or dust? It seems as if this thing gets dirty, your computer will still look dirty -- and it's not like it's any easier to clean than the regular MBP's casing. Ivisor and Keyboard guard I understood, but this product seems pointless and overpriced.

Aluminum can tarnish and can make your palm rest look really bad. I disagree, the Palmguard is easier to clean the the MBP. I had to take it off to review another product. I do think it is overpriced but it is worth it. Also, the aluminum dents easily this protects it from small dents.

So yeah.. you're right about the dents. Long story short, dust caught on my glass screen and pushed into the palmrest leaving one small dent. It was tiny but it still bothered me. Bought the palm guard, it's awesome. Looks really great. So you're right, hats off to your review.

I couldn't watch the video on my iPhone but I will watch it later. Dude! This sucks lol. My rebel is falling apart! Lol. It has the worst saggy bottom ever, it's ripped, it's all scratched, my bottom chrome got scratched! I should of listened to you :(. Have you heard anything from SwitchEasy. Also I need a good case, should i get the candyshell.
