Картина (в любом из двух проявлений) ведь, несмотря на явную дешевизну некоторых эффектов, в принципе получилась приличная.

А уж учитывая, что за последние лет 20, более-менее пристойных фильмов в жанре "фэнтези" на постсовковом пространстве можно пересчитать по пальцам одной руки, то "Ведьмак" заслуживает хотя бы 2-х минутной оды))))

Im from Poland and I can say that the series was popular, but the movie was strict based on series, so it was dumb for my, anyway, this is really greate story :-))

Well to tell you the truth, compared to the book ,both series and the movie just sucks, but the series was way better than the movie imo and i can say i liked it but just because it was The Witcher ,you know.And i would be very happy if some day someone would make a movie 'The Witcher' but with quality of Lotr.I hope you know what i mean.

Wait a sec. How I know when Brodzki shoot "Wiedzmin" he already know what this will be movie and series at the same time. Also movie was released at 2001, series at 2002.

And... if one day Poland, Ukraine or Russia will make movie like LOTR, I will die by heart attack))))))
