The majority of my floor in my dorm at Missouri University in 1981 missed our 2 pm classes as we congregated to the TV room to watch General Hospital, Rick Springfield was huge then, the album Working Class Dog, and this was when there were three main channels, it took on a whole sci-fi theme, radical to this day for a soap opera. Mekos Cassadine freezing the world. Luke and Laura. Scorpio. The Ice Princess. And I didn't even get stoned then. Just awesome now to think of it.
I was 8 when this was on and I NEVER missed it while Rick was on there. Used to high tail it home from school so I was home by 3 pm then there would be an hour worth of squealing. :) He's a fox!!
@Memoryburst I figured out if I ran all the way home as fast as I could, I would walk in the door at 245p so I could see Dr. Drake. If I ran like hell, I could make it home at 240.
I can't believe how much Patrick looks like Noah when Noah was his age. I was all the way with Luke in this vid. I have 2 little sisters and if any man broke their hearts I would break his neck.
Fell in love w/the looks then (oh those dreamy eyes) and the voice....learned the music shortly after and LOVED it- got older and respected the songwriting and now I just cant' get enough of this handsome, talented cool guy. He's terrific.
Nice progress in your life!I started listening to music of this guy (RS) 1 1/2 year ago and I have to say he`s awesome musician.Luv his music!But I have to admit that I`ve never seen General Hospital before.I remembered only his first big hit Jessie`s girl from one Slovak oldies hit parade,so I found out all infos about Rick Springfield.And just because of him I starting watching some videos from this tv show by internet (youtube).
In here he acts protective of Bobbie but with Lulu he makes a point of not acting like a traditional father when it comes to whom she gets involved with. Then again he did say later that he never objected to Bobbie's previous line of work.
Dr. Noah Drake can take my temperature anytime lol.

Don't bother comparing GH characters then and now. Head writer Bob Guza has ruined every character on the show the last 10 years.

Same here! I never liked soaps, they're way to corny for me; I'm only watching this now because of rick! LOL! He's got talent. Real talent =D
