Don't know how to host servers but I know that typing /sendmap will send the map to the server your at, and then your friends type /getmap to download it directly.

@vnzboy Not even close. They don't even use the same engine. Trust me, I'm a huge Nexuiz fan, but these are very two different and unique games, both worthy of playing and keeping on the ol' hard drive :)

Nexuiz is a generation past Cube in regards to its engine in reality. Furthermore it's based on the 'Dark Places' engine. However, I still prefer Sauerbraten.

@Packetping Yeah, I gave it a shot, and actually had a lot of fun playing it. The only "problem" was that the game was too easy. A couple clanmates (from Nexuiz) and I played a couple seasoned players from Sauerbraten and beat them after only have been playing for a few days. The first day, they kept accusing us of aliasing. So as fun as it was, it didn't pose that much of a challenge, unfortunately.

The new 'Justice' edition is out now. Give it a try, I think it's a progressive improvement.

@Packetping Yeah, I actually compiled it recently. They definitely did a better job packaging dependencies this time, which is good for all the Linux users; so I was happy with that. Movement seemed nicer, more fluid, and the crosshair selector is a nice touch. I was quite impressed, to be honest :)
