Just like how many of the people in this game wear masks, this song wears a mask of its own. It wears a mask that everything is alright and that the people of Clock Town will be safe. They can live their lives as they did two days ago. Underneath this mask lies the truth.  Clock Town and Termina are totally screwed.

I seriously feel like this game could be studied in a philosophy class. Theres so much depth to it.

Yeah, this is one of my favorite tracks from Majora's Mask ^^ It has that dark, looming sensation that the moon gives you as it slowly comes closer to earth. Yet at the same time it has the hope that tries to stand up against it.

it took me about 3 years to notice that the songs' feel change throughout the 3 days, I guess because for me it was more "oh god I gotta hurry up!" after beating it the first time i went through it again and thought to myself "this song sounds different, it sounds more evil than i remember"

I'd say the music for the second day has more of a gossipy "did you hear what they say?" vibe. You can tell the villagers are noticing something strange happening.

In the final day music, the town is on the verge of panic, some stay and others leave, the ones who stay are still trying to make the town feel safe, even if they're very anxious themselves.

Also, if you listen to this song carefully, you'll notice that it's being played by the same instruments that play the Skull Kid's theme.
