@PrinceKingRac3 I recognized this groove right off... On the Sly And The Family Stone album "There's A Riot Goin' On" (1974) the last track titled, "Thank You For Talkin' To Me Africa" is a slower funk reworking of their previous hit, "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" Prince & co. are jamming on the basic groove from this track, including the bass break. Hope this helps...
