I think its a pretty fun game if you approach it more like an arcade game than a realistic simulation. The stats for the fighters suck though, almost as if random stats were assigned to some fighters.

Punch stat doesn't lie Berto outlanded Collazo 266 shots to 222. Berto also landed the harder shots; HBO commentators kept saying Berto got dropped in the first round; HE DIDN'T GET DROPPED! in fact the right hand he hit Collazo with later was way more effective than the shot Berto took when he was off balance. Collazo almost got KO'd in the last round.

Collazo kept pressing the fight n he threw more punches, but berto landed by far the cleaner more effective punches. I hate to break it to u tho. #'s always lie. U can't tell a story wit #'s and you can't see talent just looking at #'s either. N I don't really have much faith in compubox either. It may be just me but I don't always see the fights going the way compubox suggests

Collazo was robbed once again. He clearly won this fight. They even gave it to Berto as a UD, when Berto didn't even win a SD. I guess the blind judges only judged the 12th round. Boxing is a great sport, but some people in it always fucks it all up.

I haven't played this game, but it looks pretty poor. FNR3 is also crap, with every fight against the AI feeling like carbon copies of one another. Boxing's a notoriously hard sport to replicate in video game form, but FN's control scheme is at least a step in the right direction, so hopefully they'll get it right one of these days. Until they get the mechanics right, they could at least throw in something resembling a decent career mode instead of the complete shit on offer currently.

The game is good. I think some of the career mode concepts are better than fight night but other features are a step backwards into older games to me. The movement is sometimes half-stiff and half-fluid which makes it seem less realistic looking but aside from that Its a cool game. I feel the best game could have been made by combining the best from FNR3 and other games. Perhaps that is what will happen in the next game.
